Sorry to ask @Jim_M - but is the 6/23 evidentiary hearing still on - or was that moved to 7/28? TIA!

The first hearing that shows up is for the July 28, 2020, evidentiary hearing. It does appear that the June 23, 2020, hearing was moved to that. I cannot find anything for this case (CR20183978) in June. Not even a note of some kind. Strange?

*Evidentiary Hearing (re Murder) (@ 8:30am PT) – AZ – Isabel Mercedes Celis (6) (April 21, 2012, Tucson, found Mar. 3, 2017, Id’ed Mar. 31, 2017) & Maribel Victoria Gonzales (13) (June 4, 2014, Tucson, found June 6, 2014, id’ed June 20, 2014) – only for *Christopher Matthew Clements aka Damion James Johnson (36/now 37) indicted (9/15/18) & charged & arraigned (9/24/18) with 2 counts of 1st degree murder, 2 counts of kidnapping a minor under 15, 2 counts of 2nd degree burglary, 1 count of theft by controlling stolen property, 1 count of trafficking in stolen property & 14 counts of sexual exploitation of minors. Plead not guilty. $2M cash only bond. DA will seek DP.
Murder trial to begin on 2/23/21.
Trial (for Burglary/fraud) begins on 2/23/21. (for both).

I'll never forget Isa. More than 8 years later and her family still waits for justice.

I envision Isa today would be a bubbly, strong softball player, and weekend fashion-plate of a 14-year-old.

She was such a memorable child and special thoughts of peace and strength for her parents, sibling, family and friends.
