At this point I think we have us a Triple Crown winner, that is just a flat out WARRIOR of a horse!
When the sister read a statement last night, she stated that when Sergio was going to court that day that people were stating "animal abuse".
Um, hold up pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Did the sister say that as truth or what? I don't want to misunderstand what's being stated.

I have a question. This might be different in different places but if CPS shows up and asks to come in do you have to let them? Do they need a warrant?
I think people allow it because they are scared....
I know that the automatic thought is that if CPS has been to someones house....there must be something wrong there....
She read that statement in front of the crowd at the vigil at the same time she told the crowd that CPS wasn't at Sergio's home in December.
Holy Carpola! CPS coming to check out the clothing not matching the weather when the temp is in the high 60's? I am beginning to think Arizona is a very unusual place.
I believe it is called "hearsay". . But why would she spin anything?

I think the December incident has been way overblown. It may not have even concerned Sergio since he wasnt even spoken to until May of this year. Even LE came out and said it was a MINOR incident and had nothing to do with Isa.
I dont have any reason to believe his sister wouldnt be truthful about something that can be verified. I dont find her biased just because she is his sister but I do think she would really know what happened.
IMO
In Florida I believe you do not have to let them inside, but you should talk to them. Also, talk to a lawyer before signing any "case plan".

You do not have to let CPS inside if they show up at your home without a warrant. If you don't show CPS that your kids are there in your home and healthy (parade the kids behind you so CPS can see them), CPS can and frequently does come back with a court order and takes the children. Call the police when CPS shows up so an officer can verify that the children were there and alive. CPS in my state (PA) has been known to be deceptive to get a court order to remove children.I have a question. This might be different in different places but if CPS shows up and asks to come in do you have to let them? Do they need a warrant?

Maybe because A) she doesn't truly understand things/terms/procedures, or B) she feels that her brother is being unfairly targeted by LE and apparently some folks near the court house... therefore is embellishing or misspeaking out of frustration.
I dunno. LOL.
And then we see so often in other states very serious neglect and abuse and CPS does nothing to have the child(ren) removed from the parent(s).
:maddening:
MOO
I completely understand a sister defending her brother. What I do not understand is her statements being repeated as factual rather than the opinions of a relative of one of the POIs in the case.
I only questioned that what she said was being posted as fact and asked if she were the only source for these rumors. Apparently asking for actual proof is not allowed. JMO
