The report showed low levels of ethanol (alcohol), GHB drug, caffeine and theobromine (principal alklaoid of cacao plant).
Warren says the amount of GHB in JJ's body was "inconclusive" - hard to tell if it was naturally occurring in the body or if he was given it.

Alcohol is also produced by decomposing bodies. A low level is produced when the blood ferments.

Caffeine and theobromine are both present in chocolate.

I watched Colby’s YT podcast on this today and I was a bit surprised that after all this time she couldn’t come up with a better lie to tell him - something that would at least fit in the timeline. But I am appalled that she could try to blame JJ’s death on Tylee. I just have no words.

She would rather blame Tylee than Alex or Chad. She chose Chad over her children. Her story is consistent with her statement at the trial. In her mind, only in this scenario nobody could be blamed for murder and she would be "protecting" Tylee by refusing to speak to authorities.

Oh, yes, Tylee wanted to be cremated -- well, I don't know about you all, but when I was 16-17 years old, I was consumed with making my funeral plans and telling my parents, and anyone who would listen, how I wanted to be "prepared" after death. (Big, big EYE ROLL here!)

[ETA: I know I am probably in the minority here, but I do not believe for one minute that LV, herself, believes anything that she spews from her mouth. It is all to cover her . . . "donkey."]

Vallow speculated that Tylee could have JJ down 'too long' to 'try to get him to not scream and be loud in the apartment,' killing him. She said Tylee then took her own life.

'When I came in on that scene and they were gone, I thought Tylee did it to get back at me,' she said in the 64-minute call, which Ryan posted to his YouTube channel. 'I thought it was all my fault. I thought she was mad at me, and that's what happened.'

The extreme narcissism is so apparent. Tylee killed JJ by her stupidity, and then killed herself to make LV look bad? It's all about LV.

As with all narcissists, LV must find a way to show herself as faultless. Anyone (or any action) that makes her look bad must be spun into a story that someone is out to get her (because how dare they make her look bad, when she is faultless).

Lori's brother Adam and uncle Rex reacted to her latest statements on their podcast. I just started listening. According to Rex, a few days into her Idaho trial, the (Cox) family learned that she might blame Tylee as her defense. I wonder if she discussed it with her mother or they got it from her attorneys. The family didn't speak about it publicly. It's unclear if Colby was aware of it. Rex thinks that Lori knows that her version isn't true, but she also still believes in her mission with Chad.

Some tidbits from the podcast: Unlike Rex, Adam believes that Lori probably didn't physically participate in the children's murders but left it to Alex and Chad to do the dirty work. Adam has forgiven Lori for wanting to murder him as well (she told Alex that Adam became a zombie). He hasn't been contact with her, though some of his family members have. Adam won't attend Lori's two upcoming trials, unless he's called as a witness. According to him, Brandon forgave Alex (not sure when) for the attempted murder. It's mind boggling, knowing that Brandon had feared Alex since the attack. If true, him forgiving his ex-wife Melani sounds less strange. Adam hinted that he and his (Cox) family still aren't on the same page about everything. I'm wondering what others are not ready to admit. For example, Adam is 50/50 about the theory that Lori had a hand in Joe Ryan's death. He and Rex firmly believe that she is both a liar and delusional with a messiah complex, while Chad is just evil.

According to the Maricopa County Superior Court's website, under Rule 11, the Forensic Services Division evaluates defendants for competency in criminal cases.

"If found competent, they return to trial court; if found incompetent but restorable, they receive treatment in a Restoration to Competency (RTC) program or an Outpatient Treatment Program. If deemed incompetent and not restorable within statutory time limits, civil commitment may be pursued, leading to evaluation and treatment at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center and dismissal of criminal charges," read the description.

It really wouldn't surprise me if eventually, she's in a mental health ward permanently.

I believe she knew right from wrong when she killed her kids, but I also believe she has had delusions and hallucinations from years before the crimes, and she has absolutely no interest in living her life in reality. Who would, if in your head you're an all powerful goddess, fighting evil for millennia? And in reality, you're a child killer in prison for life?
