The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has uncovered the identity of the unidentified female found along Highway 93 in White Hills, Arizona on September 28, 2016.
Known as “White Hills Jane Doe“, the deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Kimberly Rena Jones of San Bernardino, California.
On September 28, 2016, a couple hiking in the Mohave County desert stumbled upon a body lying in a ravine near highway 93. The partially mummified remains belonged to a black female, estimated to be between 14 and 17 years old, with curly dark hair about 5 inches in length. The body had manicured fingernails, and toenails that were polished pink, as well as pierced ears and possible orthodontic work. The victim was found nude and unconcealed, and without identification, the body was nicknamed “White Hills Jane Doe,” based on her being found near White Hills, near the Hoover Dam.
