Sanaa had more than 60 scars with 100 cuts & bruises as well as several ulcers & abscesses when she died at Phoenix Children's Hospital in February 2017. Prosecutors allege Sanaa, who suffered from severe schizophrenia & other medical conditions, died from a sepsis infection after she suffered head & foot injuries linked to her living conditions.

7/31/23: 2nd unopposed Motion to extend time for non-party office of Arizona attorney general to respond to defendant's Motion to Compel. 8/4/23-Motion: Ext/time/filing-granted.
