Good grief! The photos that are paid for goes where the person that pays for them says. The photographer doesn't make those decisions. I appreciate your argumentative attitude, but you're wrong on this one. I speak from experience.

I disagree, generally the photog chooses which pics to put on their website. They own the rights. However, as a courtesy, most of my friends were asked permission before they posted them. Fortunately I am not married so I don't have first-hand experience.

OOps, just finished reading all of this, I see the photos have been discussed!! I think it is possible if there was a shot showing the boy with his dad and/or stepmom they have removed it for privacy reasons. The more candid shots it is up to us to decide which may or may not be the boy. I don't read anything into it otherwise, these photogs use whatever they see fit to use, be it candid or posed.

The stepmom info is interesting. I'm not ready to jump on her for having a little fun though, for all we know she might not have smiled all month. Maybe she had a few good minutes. Now if a pattern emerges, that's a different story. And people do grieve in different ways. I'm very stoic and would only be emotional in private, preferably alone. I know how to put on a show and a public face so hopefully no one sees anything is wrong. It's pure acting but I don't have the luxury of a desk job where I can sniffle and boo hoo all day.

Gitana1,

Do you think there is a possibility that this boy suffers from an Attachment Disorder. His mother left him when he was 2 years old.

It seems from the literature that makes the child devoid of feelings and no matter what, may feel they are unloved and are unattached to others.

It's a good question. But, you know, I don't know what the heck is going on in this case! Nevertheless, I would venture to guess he does not have attachment disorder because those kids, while superficially charming in limited circumstances, are usually horribly volatile once the initial newness of the relationship/situation wears off. For example, kid is in foster care. Potential adoptive parents meet child. Child smiles beautifully and immediately reaches up for a hug. (They are initially more affectionate than other kids normally are). Parents fall in love and begin proceedings to adopt. They take the kid home. He is sweet for the first day or so. Then, the child won't allow anyone to touch himi, he's trying to stab Fluffy the cat with a knife, he's destroying furniture, erupting in violent, uncontrollable rages, not sleeping, hording food, standing by the parents bed staring in a frightening way during the night, smearing feces on walls, lying continously, horrifically disruptive in school, violent with teachers, unable to have any friends, hurting every other child he comes in contact with, self-mutilation, etc. I don't think this boy fits the profile. Also, besides mom abandoning him, you would also have to add zero affection from her or anyone else for extended periods of time, in infancy. I don't know enough to say if that happened. And, even if this was his experience, he does not seem to have a history of the very severe problems kids with attachment disorder have. But, I think it is important that EVERY angle be looked at and every question asked in a case such as this!

If a person signs a contract with a photographer that stipulates the company can post any taken photos on their website without your permission, that person would be a fool. What happens is: you look at the proofs (of which there will be hundreds {you pay by the print].
Normally, in the real world, photos are taken at the party after the wedding. No one in their right mind would want uncle Joe, drunk and disorderly photographed.
When you hire a contractor, photographer, or plumber, the rights are yours.

Not if your looking for a discount!

No, I definitely see one's where both CR and TR appear to be behaving in an affectionate and loving way with their closest loved ones on their most special day, that's what makes it more glaring to me that there is NOT one like that w/ CR included...

Your beef is with the photographer....PEROID. imo

I checked several other photos of the photographer, Sierro Blanco. Actually, I didn't really see children in the photos. Most photos seem to be of couples (bride and groom) or, in one case, partially clad females. I think the photographer maybe is more adult focused.

Maybe the photographer stunk.

I disagree! I think the photographer was fantastic!

The photos are a sampling of his work.........I'd hire him/her based on that sampling. Which is exactly the point of the website.

It is sad we didn't see a family photo. If anyone finds out which boy in the photo or photo's are really him please let us know ok?

I think it was disrespectful not to have a family picture with the little boy in it.But maybe they did not come out.I was not impressed at all with him.But it really doesn't matter. It really doesn't have too much to do with anything.

No disrespect.I really think we are beating a dead horse :other_beatingA_Dead with the picture topic.

I think it's more of a matter of taste. Many people prefer posed pictures. I don't. Any decent photographer can do posed, it's the ability to capture candids and artistic creativity that I look for.
