I looked up the movie "Little Miss Nobody." It's about a spunky orphan who gets in trouble but has a good heart. So there's no insult intended with the nickname.

It's the passage of time that's the critical factor. After 55 years her parents and any aunts or uncles are presumably long gone and it's possible she could have been an only child, so there may not be any siblings.

To exhume and get a DNA sample they would need a court order, presumably.

The description of "full and perfect set of baby teeth" has me believing she was 5 or younger. In real life, I am a teacher in the elementary grades. Children begin losing their baby teeth in kindergarten- aged 5 or 6. By age 7- (second grade) lots of baby teeth are loose and falling out .

From what my mom told me, the sunsuits were worn by toddlers/preschoolers.

Exactly what I think too. Baby teeth should be in by what, age 3? I think that by looking at her they should have been able to figure out an approximation. I feel that the original estimate of 4 1/2 is probably more accurate. Like you, I'll be surprised if she's older then 5 or 6.

Has anyone found out if they are going to exhume her and try to get DNA and isotope testing on her to help find out who she is?

I came here today to say I have asked if it's a possibility to get her exhumed for DNA as well as possibly a recon; so crossing fingers & toes.

To exhume and get a DNA sample they would need a court order, presumably.

Depends on the town/ county/ state laws. Some do want a court order. Praying they do not for our little girl <3

That would be so good if we can get a recon on her and possibly pictures of her clothing ect...as well.I just pray they can get DNA to help Identify her and put it in CODIS.

Wonder if the Arizona Republic would be interested in doing a story........

Kimster did a hit & run then hide her post lol I have the blog backed up

Oh, you're QUICK! I'm just doing some housekeeping and saving full articles for Carl. We have copyright issues here and have to snip them and then years later they go away. Trying to come up with a way to save them for future reference. The link isn't any new info and we aren't hiding anything. Here's the link of the article I copied: http://blog.jaimegipe.com/2011/03/little-miss-nobody/

Carry on. Nothing to see here. LMBO! :grouphug:
:offtopic: <------------ bad alien. :giggle:

LOL! I know you're not hiding anything. It's a good idea
There were a bunch of articles on Porch light for one Doe; I think it's Walker. PL keeps going down; I saved her thread but I'm sure there are others.

I'm just wanting to see if anyone knows what going on with her and if LE is doing anything to help find out who she is now.

Having never been a girl or a woman, can someone shine a light on why a mother or aunt would put makeup, nail polish and/or perfume on a little girl?

Off the top of my head: Some reasons a mom/aunt would put makeup/perfume nail polish on a child: little girl sees Mom painting nails/putting on perfume or makeup and she wants some, too.

#2. Going somewhere special that requires getting dressed up: birthday party, church services and/or Sunday school; visit an elderly relative like Great Grandma who expects little girls to look nice; out to lunch or dinner at a "fancy" restaurant or ladies' tearoom that uses cloth tablecloths and napkins and china plates; to appear in court for some reason; a flower girl in someone's wedding. Attending an afternoon matinee at a stage theatre or movie theatre, attending a circus or other entertainment event.

Audition for a play or some sort of fashion show/talent show.

#3. Going to Daddy's place of employment (remember this was 1960) and Daddy's boss and coworkers will be there: promotion, open house for families to come and see where Daddy works; new larger building for Daddy's company. Also: retirement party for Grandpa at his place of business.

#4. house hunting- Mom has narrowed it down to 2 houses and she wants the children to see which one they like. Mom wants to have the kids make a good impression on the real estate agent/ potential neighbors/ homeowners if they are home.

Excellent list, Rainwater.

I'll add #5, playing dressup.

It's on my list to speak to her NamUs case worker; just have not had time. I brought it up to Todd Matthews via PM but he didn't answer
