Bumping this for helenbee. That person looks like they'd be easy to find if she wants to get in touch with her. This looks like some really pertinent information and I wondered about how secure those platforms where the lifeboats are were. According to this comment you can just walk out onto them. :waitasec:

This person might also have some contacts for other people who were on the ship if they plan on their own private investigation.

Very interesting indeed. I would like to know more about this man on the platforms. I wonder what he was doing on the platforms. I know my sister would never just walk around on the platform. Wondering if this man is somehow linked to all of this

Try googling the name on the comment helenbee. I think she has a FB so maybe you can try to contact her that way. Still praying for justice for Fariba.

I'm not sure helenbee but I'd have to say it most likely is an area for crew members only? Here is a picture of the crew looking out before setting sail on the Bahama Celebration. They are in the lifeboat area. Not sure what the women meant by "platform" and whether she was just talking about this general area.

Families search for cruise ship passengers lost at sea

The lights of Freeport Harbour narrow into a single fading line as the dark sky and inky ocean come together over deck 6 of the cruise ship Bahamas Celebration.

Over the past decade, nearly 200 people have disappeared from cruise ships, never to be found. Eight have already vanished this year, according to a cruise industry expert who tracks these incidents.

In February, Vancouver businesswoman and mother of two Fariba Amani was on this very cruise ship, the Bahamas Celebration.

She boarded with her boyfriend, Ramiz Golshani, a man she had met at a salsa dancing class in 2011.

Only Golshani returned to Vancouver. He has declined to talk to reporters.

Golshani told FBI investigators and cruise ship security that the two went separate ways after midnight on Feb. 29, the last night of the cruise, she to the gift shop and he to the casino.

At 4:30 a.m., a few hours before the ship was to arrive in Palm Beach, Golshani reported her missing, crew members say. Amani has not been seen since.

Thanks for article SheWhoMustNotBeNamed - besides bumping the thread, it shows Fariba is still somewhat in the news.
Guess this case just goes cold and she's gone and that's it as far as investigation appears going ... so sad!
