RG's sister: "My brother is in a big mess; he went on a cruise with his girlfriend, who he loves, and then she disappeared"

RG's sister: "The reason that he is not talking, he is not ready. He is going to talk to you guys soon"

reporter: "Today G's family told CTV he will address the media this afternoon, but a meeting was never called. He didn't answer the phone at this Coquitlan apartment where he is believed to be staying"

RG's sister: "In all the pictures she is smiling, she is posing, they are laughing, they are flirting, you know. It was a nice vacation for them"

In someway I can understand his reluctance to give interviews at this time, having been interviewed by the FBI and released. If innocent I would want a few days to get myself together..but having said that I would make contact with her family... just a thought, if he had nothing to do with it, who did?..

I think the key words here are "Golshani said (the FBI had cleared him of any wrongdoing)." (BBM)

The FBI (or LE) could still be looking at him behind the scenes.

I am a family member of Fariba Amani. I know that she DID NOT jump. I can bet my life on it. She has 2 beautiful children, loving siblings and Mom. She had a love for life.

We are in desperate need for answers, and I know that there must be somebody out there who has witnessed something. Not a crime but maybe a heated argument or something on that ship or even in the hotel. We are asking, begging anybody with any information whatsoever to come forward. We need justice.

This was a beautiful, loving and caring person and she did not deserve this. No one deserves this.

We are absolutley devastated by this.

Oh and there are no cameras on the deck. I believe it should be mandatory for all cruises to have cameras all over the ship including the decks.

The man went to sleep and raised the alarm when he woke up and found she still wasn't in their cabin, Kinnear said.

"The way he explains it is he went to the casino and got back to his room," CBS reported Kinnear as saying. "He went to bed, and she still wasn't there. And when he woke up in the morning, she still wasn't there. He walked around the ship for a while before he decided to come and tell us."


So your girlfriend isn't in your room over night...on a two night trip...and you walk around the ship for awhile???????????????????????

Ok, this is so disturbing to me! My husband, 2 kids and myself just got off this same cruise the voyage before this one (on Monday). This ship is not really a cruise, but a ferry. The 2 nights includes the trip over where it drops you off in the Bahamas, where u then stay for a few days, then the one night to get back to FL. As far as her falling off, I don't see how it's possible. There's a 5 foot fence going all the way around all the open deck areas. It would take quite a bit of effort to fall over that fence! It's quite ironic because my husband & I had a conversation about how it would be a "perfect" crime scene because there are absolutely no cameras anywhere and the open deck was completely desolate. As far as the card swiping goes, my husband swiped all 4 of our cards when the three of us were off doing something else. They never checked to make sure we were present or our identities when they swiped our cards or that we even got on the ship. I really hope this lady decided to stay in the Bahamas in hiding, but it seems very suspicious and the fact they stopped looking for her in 24 hours is disgusting in my opinion.

I had a question regarding this can you tell me a little bit more about this cruise. what time the bar closes the last show etc..... i would really appreciate it

She must have been videoed in or leaving the gift shop, what time, which direction,was she alone?
It is disturbing to think that there are no cameras in corridors leading to and from rooms
What about lobby areas? Exits to decks?

On a cruise ship , you are travelling with 1500 plus people you don't know
Many women walk around alone, to and from their cabin
It seems to me, the security is appalling, JMO

I believe it is a value cruise
Its very short

From the website, it seems that they have all of the amenities

Security may be another question JMO
