@gliving thanks for posting the latest. Not only did she have an affair, with an 18yo, but she's caught doing it again as if it's an addiction. moo Surely she's aware of RS's recent status so she knows that train has left the gate.

The 3 accused were informed on FRI what the Prosecution evidence is against them.

It sounds like not only did the local officials foil their murderous plot but the killing didn't happen because of the presence of the minors. It is the same day, July 8, of the cop cam at their $2.5M mansion before RS departed with them. The alleged text messages, in part:

'This bleep rolled up on Lindsay and wouldn't let her on the plane and he put his hands on her. I am about to come out of retirement for this bleep,' Bethell is alleged to have written...

'He is flying into Baker's Bay, she is thinking about letting me kill him but he has the kids.'

She and her co-conspirators - who face up to 60 years in jail if prosecutors can prove the messages represented a genuine murder plot - will appear < > later this week to enter pleas and ask for a review of their bail conditions.

Their hopes of a speedy resolution are likely to be dashed as cases typically take three years or more to make it to trial in the overburdened Bahamian justice system.

That was not quite his best guest. You may have given better answers to Jesse's questions since you likely understand more about the case than he seemed to know.

Does RS fear for his life today? Do the actions of the 3 suspects rise to the charges of conspiracy to murder under Bahamian law?

"Bahamian law allows for prosecution of the conspiracy if there is an agreement or an act in furtherance of a common criminal purpose. [This] is easier to prove than most United States jurisdictions that require both an agreement and an action in furtherance of a common criminal purpose," Fiset said when asked how strong a case the prosecution could have in a trial.

"The standard [of] evidence gathered thus far may allow the prosecution to show that the intent to murder existed along with the agreement to do so." - Newsweek

Based upon the limited amount that we know so far, I'd say those prima facia burdens are going to be able to be met.
The texts about being ready once already but the kids were present and then the new evidence of another affair discovered, means there is some pretty serious evidence against her.

Not trying to be repetitive but it's not the 1st time Twit vid wouldn't play for me incognito mode.

All 3 pled Not Guilty. Trial date is set for March 4 - 8, 2024. So, she can't leave the island until trial, right?

Meanwhile, in the news cycle, headlines move from RS being potential murder plot victim to becoming SC's BF. Isn't that a rosy outcome for LS sending 'kill him' texts? Will RS remarry next year?

Did I hear right?.. he called Newbold Mr. Dreamy Eyes? Did he really say that?!
Well.. his eyes are kinda dreamy. He's got those long eyelashes and the color has that translucent quality to it. BUT! That's a totally inappropriate thing to say when he's facing such serious charges, and he doesn't deserve to hear such compliments.

ABACO, Bahamas (Court TV) — Lindsay Shiver and her two co-conspirators pled not guilty in an alleged murder-for-hire plot to kill Shiver’s husband, Robert Shiver. A formal arraignment took place Friday morning in a courtroom in the Bahamas.

The judge set a March 4, 2024 trial date, and Shiver’s next pretrial appearance will take place on January 31, 2024. All three are currently out on bail but must remain in Nassau, adhere to a curfew, and are being tracked by ankle monitors.

The judge set a March 4, 2024 trial date, and Shiver’s next pretrial appearance will take place on January 31, 2024. All three are currently out on bail but must remain in Nassau, adhere to a curfew, and are being tracked by ankle monitors

Cameras were not permitted in the courtroom, but Court TV Crime and Justice Correspondent Matt Johnson was at the hearing and heard the defendants speak in court. Johnson said all three stood with their arms folded and each individually addressed the judge to say they were not guilty.

The attorney representing the trio, Owen Wells, gave Court TV the following statement:
“Lindsay is innocent and the evidence will clearly demonstrate her innocence. She continues to face the legal process with complete transparency and honesty. Lindsay is looking forward to getting this ordeal behind her and — most importantly — she is looking forward to being reunited with her young children who have been without their mother for many months. She has confidence in the integrity of the Bahamian justice system and will continue to cooperate in any way she can.”

(CNN) — American Lindsay Shiver, accused of conspiring to kill her husband with two co-defendants in the Bahamas, was granted bail of $100,000 by a Bahamian Supreme Court justice on Wednesday.

She will be outfitted with an electronic monitoring device and must comply with an 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew. As Shiver walked into court wearing ripped jeans and a T-shirt, spectators yelled questions but it did not appear she replied to anyone.

Shiver’s alleged co-conspirators, Terrance Adrian Bethel, 28, and Farron Newbold Jr., 29, had previously been released on $20,000 bail, Cargill told CNN on Friday.

Right. Wasn’t she wearing the ripped jeans at the first hearing?

I recall her in the ripped jeans and tshirt when she was brought over to Nassau for her first hearing. I assume those were probably the same clothes she had when she was arrested.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Lindsay Shiver, the American housewife accused of plotting the murder of her husband, Robert Shiver, wants to go back to The United States as she awaits her trial.
The prosecution didn’t oppose the application on the condition that she doesn’t come within 100 feet of her husband, the alleged target of the murder plot.
Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson is scheduled to deliver a decision on the application to vary the terms of Shiver’s $100,000 cash bail on December 21.
