By the way, I must have missed it.....where has it been reported (and is there a picture?) that DD had an obvious head injury prior to going missing?

The corrupt one is Don Richardson the 80 year old From the United States . He is a convicted felon on tax evasion identity theft. Assult just like the assult he made on the guy in scottys bar . He is Evil in the flesh. Dirty businessman will throw you under the bus to save bis own self . Hed throw his own mom under the bus . How does a corrupt man like Don Ricbardson with a criminal background that owes the irs tbousands of dollars that he hasnt paid like ordered be allowed to retire in belieze buy develop and sell property.? The man has money dirty money. But a lot of it . I believe i read that to be a qrp in belize. You had to have a criminal free background. Every rule to be one he failed to comply . they obviously dont check back grounds or extensive ones.

DirtyDR, what is your connection to Don Richardson? Were you a business partner or employee? Did you loose money to him? Or is he simply an acquaintance?

I have done work for Don . And I was an acquaintance. For many years. Things I personally and professionally witnessed and been told Of Don Richardson brings up so many areas of concern in this matter. Anyone that does business with this man should be very cautious. The value of a dollar means more to him that friendships. When he goes down he takes whomever he can as well. Hes a violent person and a dishonest perso .

Another couple have gone missing in Corozal. Their burned out vehicle has been located but they have not. There's no indication that there is a connection, but both couples left a drinking establishment late at night. Sounds like their vehicle was found in the same general area as either the vehicle or bodies in FM and DD's case? Interesting that in this case, the person(s) actually torched the vehicle instead of waiting for someone to torch the field. I guess we will wait to find out more on this case. It is disheartening how the families of these missing people also indicate that local LE are doing not much with regards to searching for the missing people or investigating the crime. It really is pretty easy to get away with murder in Belize.

Hmm...sounds familiar. What kind of threats are these women receiving? Although it does appear that this woman is either divorced or estranged and has a child. So that might have some significance.

“Between three and four last night, my security arrangement were circling and they found some problem. Later on at around eight-thirty when I was preparing to come to court, they found the right side of my car door stripped. The upper part of the car door glass broken. They found the back part of my car opened and later on I found out through a neighbor that the police had checked for a report that there were two masked guys that had jumped my iron gate, got into my yard while I was sleeping. I knew nothing of the men, I knew nothing of the police report until eight-thirty this morning. I was asked to go make a formal report to the police station and I did that this morning. This has happened on top of a lot of Facebook threats and one persons saying that this case could easily be dismissed if I die. So it’s things like that that have been accumulating over the past few weeks.”

Police found it here in an area off the road which links the Corozal Villages of Yo Chen and Patchakan. It's very remote, and it is surrounded by cane fields - making it rather difficult to find.

Couple found strangled to death a week after going missing in Belize

I don't know how accurate this video is. I had thought when LE said C.O.D. was strangulation, they meant manual strangulation. The video shows ligature.
 
This new crime is highly suspicious to me, especially because of the vehicle recovery location.

I'm afraid I don't have much confidence in Belize LE. They have virtually zero media skills, and I can't imagine that they are pounding the pavement much for either cases.

What can been done by our little group to assist? Anything? ?
 
There is no connection to Caleb Orozco. He is a high profile human rights activist in Belize. He receives threats regularly as a result. Orozco is a common name.

Aside from being willing to keep this story highlighted, there isn't much that can be done. Belize has a shockingly low conviction rate and prosecution is rare for violent crime. The police have few resources and very little incentive to try to solve crimes. Most of their work is metaphorical firefighting on a day to day basis.

Bodies of missing Corozal couple found

A while ago, BBN reported of two bodies being found near the dumpsite in Consejo Village, Corozal.

A search party made up of friends and family of Zeidy Orozco and Balthazar Lopez, the couple who went missing last Thursday night, confirmed the grizzly discovery.
