Perry Grant Matheson, reported missing by his brother in Vermont in 93 When he left he was distraught about his mother being ill. They found his car burned up but no sign of Perry. The only photo I can find is really bad, I did some modification to try to clear him up some, the one where I turned him blue, I was trying to get a more defined image of the contour of his nose. Also, Perry is 5'11' (match) blue eyes (match). Perry was 66 in 2008. I only played with the color on the photo, I kept the proportions and everything else as was..didn't want to distort him into looking different than he is. I think I'm posting this to the correct thread, if not, feel free to move it.

John Wesley Davis

I just see so much in the smile and eyes.

I just can't believe that no one has claimed him. BTW: They say that he has a "regional' accent. What region? Did I miss it?

Thank you all and I am honored to be on here.

Not a lot of details about this person.

There is a possible look of BK.

John Wesley Davis: missing, 1981
Tallahassee, Fl, population 1980 was 101,548.

He was married at time he went missing. No mention of children.
Details note he has family in the area.
He had a construction business there.
He graduated from Florida State Univ.
No fingerprints available.
DNA; Not noted. If has siblings, could get dna.

That first one with the playing card is confusing, huh? Indicates it's homicide yet goes on to say no indication of foul play. Perhaps alot of unpublished details that would make sense of that. he did have connections to multiple areas of the country. hmm

So far, I have not found archived newspaper story of his disappearance. I thought it might have more details.
It was far different in 1981 if someone went missing. It would be a local story.
I also have not found an archived newspaper article of his marriage.

John Wesley Davis, missing since 2/5/1981 from Tallahassee, Fl.
I think there is a look of Benjaman Kyle.

I cannot find information about John W Davis online.

Today, I posted his information on Tallahassee, Fl topix forum.

Welcome Sam Spade.
Discussons are in the sub forum: Sleuth possible matches for Benjaman Kyle. In the sub, you will see, a thread: Benjaman Kyle-Those who need investigation-we need your help
and this is where we post new potential matches for BEN. Also, there is a list that I will post of all who have been and still need investigating, which will help all.
Regional accent-I think applies to the voice experts from Dr. Phil who say he could be from S. Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and N. Texas.
John Wesley Davis already has a thread started under the sub forum and don't worry about mistakes, we all make them. lol

Could it be this guy?

This is Richard W Powell.
Disappeared 3/2/1984 from Texas.
DOB: 2/1/1966
I doubt this is Benjaman Kyle.

There is a look of BK, but much too young.

Hasn't he been ruled out?

1966 is too young. That would make him 43. There is no way he is 43.

Ok, I checked ancestry for Powell's, born Aug 28, 1948 in SSDI, this is one I came up with:

Kenneth Dane Powell, b. Aug 28, 1948
residence: 97071 Woodburn, Marion, Oregon, United States of America
d. Jan 8, 2009
state issued and year:Texas (1964)

this is all the obit read:

Kenneith D. Powell
Kenneith D. Powell August 28, 1948 - January 8, 2009 WOODBURN - Private services will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, Mt. Scott Blvd, Portland. Arrangements by City View Funeral Home.
published 1/14/2009 in the Statemen Journel, newspaper location, Salem, Or

Thought this one was interesting because of a private service and no other obit to be found as of yet, will see if I can find more.

Websurfer posted this in the photo comparison thread, I am adding here so we can discuss. I think the photo has some similarities to BK, especially in the nose. I always wondered if he couldn't have been a missing soldier, but wouldn't he have fingerprints in the military database? Perhaps not, with the rush to get soldiers out in the field for Vietnam... I asked a neighbor if he was fingerprinted when he joined the military and went to Vietnam, and he said he is unsure if he did:

Robert Borton
The family of a Vietnam soldier believes their son may still be alive.
