true. But in his career as a private investigator, bill stanton has never been called upon to put a bullet between the eyes of an onrushing assailant. Or, as a matter of fact, to fire his weapon for any reason. However, the gun is an indispensable part of the show, and the show is an indispensable part of the job. For stanton, being a private detective is a full-time, scenery-chewing, perception-building, high-octane performance -- from the sophisticated weaponry to the all-black matrix-like outfit to the buffed-up body to the late-night escapades -- and it's a role he was clearly meant to play.

is it me, or does this article seem to be one long commercial?
lololol.

We'll be able to hear him coming as he'll be scenery-chewing on the way.

He's worked on explosive, sensitive, headline-producing cases like the acrimonious Carl and Liba Icahn divorce, the Perelman-Duff debacle, the multi-million-dollar face-scratching dispute between famed saloon-keeper Elaine Kaufman and a customer, and the case of Charles Schwarz, the cop convicted of holding Abner Louima down while Justin Volpe brutalized him.

BBM hope we aren't in for one. :( and with that I am off to slumber.

And still the parents don't show their faces???? Where are they? Why aren't they stepping up to the plate? Looks like they are letting others take control of the situation. I just don't get it.

I wouldn't either. FOX was still headlining "mom buys wine with mystery man" 10 hrs after LE stated they knew who it was, family or friend of family and there was no scandal. It did not further the investigation. They make her sound horrible just to get ratings. They all figured out where the money was after the Casey Anthony fiasco. Most of America wants satisfaction from putting away a child killer, lets just make sure there is a child killer FIRST. If LE had proof they would have someone in custody, or at least be leaking information. I don't know what happened, but I hope this family isn't being treated unfairly because of the rage caused by Casey. I wouldn't have believed a child could fall out of bed on an electrical charger like that story that was attached to one of Lisa's articles, but it happened.

If this guy can help figure this out and possibly find Lisa then who care what his motives are or who's paying him.

Is that the same PI that Dr. Phil works with and has had on his show many times?

I don't think Bill was expecting this sort of reaction to his sudden appearance. He may have been thinking people would be relieved a PI was on the case and would naturally support a slick investigator who says they want to find Lisa.
:floorlaugh: Yeah, this is no one here's first time at the rodeo. I can imagine people in KC saying, "NYC, get a rope!" :floorlaugh:

BBM

He is SO not gonna like KCMO.

Well, IF he can come out and tell us just who it was that was walking around with a diapered baby in the middle of the night, and what it was that burned up in the dumpster fire that night, and where the heck the handyman is---then I will back off the guy for now.

Why do people keep insisting that the media decided that missing kids = money after the Casey Anthony story? The media has been covering true crime for decades. Lizzie Borden, the Lindbergh baby, Mary Phagan, Charles Manson were huge stories in their day; then you had modern cases like OJ, JonBenet, Elizabeth Smart, Laci Peterson, etc. Casey didn't start some new trend.

One thought, he will get to the underbelly of this case and prolly be comfortable doing it.

The names have been changed but if you close your eyes you would swear the title of the thread says Putnam County. Good Lord.

:floorlaugh: yep, gonna have nightmares of a cross between Lenard & Cobra
:panic:

OT but just a heads up.
