It is sort of hard to follow (surprise! It's Nurmi). He talks about JA saying (at trial) that she was molested when she was a child by a slightly older family member. He says that he isn't sure JA is telling the truth but that kids who molest were usually molested themselves. Therefore if a JA family member was molested as a child (most likely by another family member) it stands to reason that JA could have been molested similarly. But that there is no evidence she was molested.

Just about every undesirable trait she has he seems to be saying "that reminds me of someone who was abused as a child."

BBM. Well, well, well.... Nurmi is saying Jodi is a molester? And therefore she's likely to have been molested? Nurmi's book is sounding more interesting at this point...

I found an article about a Bobby Juarez that died some time between 2007- 2008. He was killed by an unknown person .This person had a very young son . Does anyone know and can you give details .

The book makes is quite obvious that KN truly believes TA is a pedophile. He compares TA on the sex tape to Jared "Foggle" (I presume he means Jared Fogle.)

The writing is very circular, and the arguments are awful. My 10 year old shows far superior logic and reasoning skills than KN. He talks about how he believes the pedo letters were forged, but TA is still a pedophile because the state could not prove with 100 percent certainty that they were forged. I have to read sections several times to make sure it isn't me, LOL.

He spelled Deanna Reid's name as "Deana" (which I think is incorrect). He twice writes "by in large" when he means "by and large." His wife edited the work, according to KN. She should not quit her day job.

Along the same lines, truly petty but irksome to me, many people on the "Super Duper..." refer to Arias as the preshus angle. I don't take offense to the misspelling of "precious," since I know that's intentional, but I do to the misspelling of the word "angel." Angles are something else altogether...

I agree. I truly believe if JM could have used JA's phone calls, he would have. KN sort of admits this in a later chapter when he says part of the reason he didn't call Sandy about JA's bruising (other than the fact that she was lying) was because it would have opened the door to Juan bringing in the phone calls.

More circular nonsense from KN. There are also 4 pages on why he is glad a knife and gun were never found. He acts like he is a legal genius for coming up with this.

Why was he glad they weren't found?

The simple answer is, Bobby Juarez from Montague, CA. is not the same person as Robert Juarez from San Diego, CA.

I will add that the conspiracy theorists out there REALLY wanted the two Bobbys to be the same man to add to the overall mystery of her roadtrip, and/or her cover-up.

I didn't take it that way. Sorry if I was unclear. I think he was saying the young relative who maybe did/maybe didn't molest JA was most likely molested himself. He further surmised that most children are molested by family members. He was saying that if this kid was molested there is probably a molester in the family who "may" have molested JA. It is very convoluted. Sorry. On the one hand KN says she was molested by a relative and then he says he has no proof she was molested but that to his trained eye she acts like a victim of childhood sexual abuse.

And trust me, this book is far from interesting. It stinks. LOL.

Please re-read what I wrote. Nothing I said contradicts your thesis (nor your essay!) and I'm in full agreement. There's nothing wrong with feminism per se, it makes legitimate claims to equality where it is lacking yet can and should be applied.

I even pointed out the logical fallacy you cite in a much earlier post, that ALV and Fonseca's brand of radical feminism wants it both ways, always viewing women as victims and claiming a mock equality, but with no corresponding responsibility.

On the other point, but not in defense of my indefensible reading, I don't remember discussing ALV's and Fonseca's radical feminism before, but I have noticed, since our discussion has become fast-paced, that thoughts are echoed later by other posters as though they are novel points of view. The idea that the "advance glimpse" of Nurmi's book are a parody was claimed by several posters. So I can see that my handle might have become attached to a diatribe against radical feminism and ALV/Fonseca, especially since I detest all three.

Bobby Juarez is alive and well, last living in Hawaii. He's a bit actor in movies and things. He's still a weird looking guy.

Summarizing some snippets.....he thinks if JM brought in the pedo letters the killer would he on death row because JM would have shredded her and revealed them as forgeries, but he also believes Travis was a pedophile.

He thought she deserved the DP -however brief the belief was-- and was sickened-- when he heard her on calls scamming folks, but...not when she lied about the man she tried to decapitate being physically abusive,etc.

What if she's taking her clues from Jodi and not the attorneys? She's trying to speak from Jodi's head, like reading her mind. I tell you, ALV mixes herself up with Jodi: JM hints at this too. This is not empathy or fellow-feeling. It's lack of boundaries: merging.

What total and utter BS. I've read every single text of his from Dec 07 thru March 08. There isn't a single text indicating he hooked up with anyone than the killer who chased after him relentlessly for everything he had, including his body.

She had lived with 3 different boy-men before she set out hunting Mormon prey and sunk her crooked teeth into Travis. As soon as she realized at long fricking last he wasn't going to marry her she promptly went out hunting big Mormon game again and began reeling in Ryan Burns.

Blaming the victim, trashing Travis Alexander AGAIN (!!!!!!!!!) tells me all I need to know about that . They deserved one another.

I agree with your overall point that Travis doesn't appear, so far, through texts to be overly sexed. What I saw was some girl named Marie trying to get him to do "something" and I don't know what, over christmas break. He never made it to see her. She was quite unhappy about it but joked it off.

Then, Jodi was asking to give massages, take baths and "nice bj" comment in January. She also starts contacting him more and more and expressing being horny. She's gross. Anyways, He gets to talking to this one girl in February after his friend, Taylor, texts something about him being single again. This girl had kids and an ex-boyfriend or husband. Anyways, she was pretty damn graphic. she led the conversation via text, and he just followed along like any man might when a woman starts sexy talk. He didnt say anything that sounded graphic--in my opinion--but it was apparent that they were trying to hook up for oral sex. I'm on Valentine's day, and up to that point, it seemed like the girl kept canceling and she sort of fell off the text stream--so far. So he may have never gone anywhere with that.

Sorry to not include that, LOL. Because finding them would have been worse for her. For example, if they were found they would have her fingerprints on them. If they found a knife that came from somewhere other than TA's house, that could go towards proving premeditation (she brought it with her). If they found the gun, her grandfather could positively ID it rather than the state having to just say it was the same type of gun. The less evidence that implicates your client, the better.

I think he is nervous that Juan is going to make him look like a buffoon. I'm sensing a lot of "I am a great attorney and you people just don't understand my ways" as I get further into the book (I'm about half way done).

One of the best moments of the trial was when Juan's questions had her on the ropes and, frustrated with her delays in answering them, he finally says to her, "you keep looking left (over towards the defense table). I'm over here!"
