Sachak asking about which way the vehicles were going -- he also asks if people in the vehicle were "horsing around." Bullman says no. “Are you certain about that?” Sachak says. “100%” he responds.

Tumanenko now being excused.

Tumanenko said he was going to take the truck to a dealership if he didn't sell it on a test drive. Dungey pressing him on if the taller man tried to haggle at all. "He didn't bargain with you to lower the price, did he? Normally when someone is going to buy a used truck, he's going to bargain with you, right?" Dungey asks. Tumanenko says there was no attempt to bargain at all.

Didn't Ivan say on Friday that the taller man asked him how low he would considering going, and Ivan told him that there was no room for negotiations?

edit: Sorry, I didn't realize that this had been brought up already, it goes to show how far behind I am in reading.

In my opinion, asking a seller if they will accept a lower price is negotiating. Negotiations are over when one party says that they are unwilling to compromise.

Sakach asks Bullmann if the ppl in the vehicles seemed to be horsing around. Bullmann says he didn't say that. "Certain. 100%."

Any thoughts on that line of questioning by DM's lawyer?

That something could have happened by accident is my guess.

Or not lol. Next tweets sort of clarify what he was getting at.

Yes, we were discussing that earlier in this thread. Only Mark Carcasole tweeted that exact thing, so it could be his error? Still seems strange to me...

Sachak pressing Bullman on his police statement. In that statement, he said "I just figured it was just someone just horsing around in the field."

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Having Bullmann read statement to police, Sakach points out he DID use term "horsing around" to police. Thought ppl were doing so in field.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago

Is he questioning the witness's integrity?

When there's a mountain of evidence against your client, you just throw mud at anything you possibly can...

I wish people would quit assuming there's a 3rd vehicle or person involved. There has been no evidence presented, no mention of that from the police etc. LE would not just give someone a free pass, if they believed there was a 3rd person.

Thanks for that! Still would be pretty visible from Trinity though, eh?

Hard to say....looking at the Google Street View....there appears to be a long line of trees and bushes along that side of Trinity. Not sure how filled in they would be in early May. Also looks like a bit of a contour to the ground there. The parked vehicle very likely was blocked from view from both Trinity and Book.

Vehicles were travelling toward Brantford. He did not see who was inside.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Bullmann tells #Millard lawyer he did not see which way the two vehicles turned. Only able to see they that were headed toward Brantford.

.......does that even make sense?

It does. The entrance to that field is on Book Rd. Earlier he said he saw them pull out of the field and cross Trinity towards Brantford. Initially we all thought the 2nd vehicle was parked along Trinity. It was actually just around the corner off of Trinity.

He has been with Hamilton police since 2000. He was with Toronto police before that.

I wonder if police took tire impressions that can prove TB's truck and vehicle belonging to accused were on that property.

Meh, I don't really care anymore actually lol too much else going on
