There is nothing wrong with sharing a house with anyone. I've done it. You just don't expect your roomie to be a cold blooded murderer until the ***** hits the fan. As for being nervous, I would be too if I had to testify in ANY trial as it is not something I do on a daily basis and therefore would not be used to it. No need to pick on the witness for feeling human.

Edited to add : Not certain if you're picking on the witness for his answers (re: nervous) or the Defense for asking the questions.

For clarity I was picking on the Defense and their recurring question about a witness being nervous NOT the witness themselves.

I think we are noticing the trend of defense in asking if a witness is nervous. I view this is as a way to dominate the interaction, it further puts pressure and stress on the witness. It may be a way for defense to TRY to get the jury to question validity of the witness statement. I totally agree with you when you don't go to court everyday on the stand MOST of us too would be very nervous. Whereas the defense lawyer has had alot of experience 'performing' in court.

The picture of letter was on DM's computer, I believe it was a blank invoice for VH. I'm pretty sure I sleuthed JV an it came back to real estate agent.

Yes it is. And there was a blank invoice for Vallata Homes on DM's computer. Sounds to me like this is one of the "Columbian contractors" who also happened to be a friend to DM/roommate? or someone who was doing work for him on the properties. Was DM making up invoices for "Vallata Homes" to use to put through MillardAir to pay this person? Even though it appears a company of that name never existed?

Looks like Vallata was also involved in the Riverside Dr incident according to the court case.

Interesting that the Crown drew it out of him that he "Doesn't know where Michelski went after leaving hangar May 6".

I wonder what this implies going forward? I wonder if AM might have had some kind of foreknowledge of something going down and had to be somewhere to possibly assist. Not suggesting he was there certainly, but might he have been told to be on standby should they need him after they had the stolen truck?

Does he ask the people who appear to have been "gifted" by MB if they are nervous? Did he ask either LW woman or SS if they were nervous? I can't remember.

When DM was writing to CN about getting someone to change their testimony, was he telling her to make sure they went to see his lawyer so that things could get "fixed" on the cross examination? Was this all when DP was still the lead attorney?

The only people i can think of that would not put their garbage out at the curb, is someone who didn't want anyone possibly going through it. I mean its not like he lived in the country or something, there is regular garbage pick up in the city.

Not sure what the situation was back then but I believe there is a garbage pickup limit? So extra garbage would have to be disposed of by either paying for extra garbage tags or disposing of it yourself. Doubt these guys were recycling to offset extra garbage. And I also doubt DM was disposing of it in any other way than illegally dumping it in business dumpsters.
