Thx for the link, Ravynne. How do you quickly google? Lol! So virgin to all of this...My children buy me these computers and I-phones...I learn as I go! Oh, there's a little cute thingy (~)!

Dr. Egger. States children in the park, prostitutes, homosexuals, and hitchhikers...collectively coined 'the less dead' are more vunerable than the housewife doing laundry. Well, duh! But, I still don't care for the term.

I do not care for the term either which is why I googled.

The googling quickly, there should be an area most likely in the upper right hand area of your browser that, says google or something similar. You can just enter the phrase you'd like to search there.

I am using an iPad, so mine is in the upper right hand corner. Anyone on a pc care to jump in on the pc front? Mac girl here. Thanks!

Wouldn't it be interesting to speak with the escort services that he used and find out what the women had to say about their experiences with BSL? I would imagine at some time or other he was able to connect with some of them.

Consider that Sean Vincent Gillis is a convicted serial killer that stalked, ... same time as Derrick Todd Lee. LE wasn't aware of Gillis, or had not tied his victims to a serial killer til the DTL investigation. Gillis's victims were prostitutes; less dead..

Serial Killer Sean Vincent Gillis - YouTube

Sean Vincent Gillis is a convicted serial killer that stalked, kidnapped, raped, murdered, and mutilated eight Louisiana women between 1994 and 2003 in the Baton Rouge Metro and surrounding areas. He is known as The "Other" Baton Rouge Serial Killer because he was operating at the same time as Derrick Todd Lee, a prolific Serial Killer who was caught before Gillis. When the murders continued after Lee's arrest, Police knew there was more then one Serial Killer in Baton Rouge.

Not all of SVG's victims were prostitutes. His first one wasn't- she was an old lady in her 80's living at an upscale assisted living place in BR. His final victim, Donna Johnston, was the only victim he killed after DTL's arrest in 2003. He actually came to the attention of LE during the days when the "Baton Rouge Task Force" was investigating who we now know to be DTL. They were looking at cold, unsolved cases from the area to see if they were connected to the BR serial killer when they realized they had 2 killers operating in BR at the same time. Donna Johnston's murder was extremely escalated compared to the other victims of SVG. He was brought down like a scene from CSI. A tire print was found by Donna's body. Police made a cast of it then determined the type of tire it was. It just so happened to belong to a batch of Goodyear tires that has been recalled. Only (approx) 90 were sold in the BR area so it was pretty unique.

He did make a comment like his victims already being dead to him or something similar. I remember being shocked that there were 2 serial killers operating in the same area during overlapping years. But now they are BOTH at Angola with BSL- all 3 where they belong.

You're correct GulfCoastKAT. I think all but two were prostitutes. TY

I quickly post now, FF, without much thought. So I'll surely apologize after for my haste. I do not care for the term, 'the less dead'...for the simplistic of reasons. I feel NOT glorified or greater than that little confused child in the park...or the desperate prostitute on the corner...or the soul-searching homosexual...or the abandoned hitchhiker on the interstate. I'm just washing my husband's draws. Completely aware that anyone of those people mentioned...could be one of my own.

I apologize if I have offended anyone.

Backwoods, yes and no.. It is very important to know the specifics to interpret the escalation level of BSL. Information of his victims is as crucial in determining this escalation as the information is about him.

Now that BSL has been convicted and sentenced, and the case is closed. Incident reports, interviews/interrogations, and other reports & information should be available to MSM via Freedom of information requests..

'Prevention and Public Safety is why it is important to know the truth'

As in any culture, or in any community spread across this great Nation, there are those who refuse or are unable to adapt to a civilized society, skirting the rules and laws that guide the rest of us through life. Fortunately they are the exception rather than the rule. Due to their selfish need to fulfill their evil desires or sexual fantasies, their lack of empathy for others, as well as their self assurance of remaining anonymous or stealth by hiding behind their masks of normalcy (at least in the darkness of their minds), they resort to the unimaginable, or unconscionable..

These psycopathetic predators, who know no boundaries of sanity, prey on unsuspecting innocent victims. Many of these predators hone their skills with each innocent victim devoured, increasing confidence and causing escalation.
Although, most of these predators have an uncanning ability to shield their motives, their expressionless face, hiding behind their fake smiles, combined with their lifeless eyes can not conceal this lie.
The only effective weapon that we all posses, is Detection: Be cautious, adhere to personal Safety rules, and Trust your 'Natural Born Instincts'.

Ummm -- yes. My post was just an attempt to capsulize recent events in this case for a poster who seemed to be asking for a quick update. (Not disagreeing with you that it is important and interesting to know more specifics -- just explaining what I was attempting to do in my post.)

chicken fried ~
i do not know you nor anything about you. Most of what you have stated in terms of what went down, i have very many times agreed with you.
Allusonz is not attacking you or your theory, beliefs. She is merely disagreeing with you and you are taking it personal, which surprises me. I agree with allusonz, that the truth was probably not told. Bsl is a convicted sex offender, a proven liar and only worried about his own skin. The fact is that he was looking for sex on the eveining he abducted mickey. As sad as that is, it is true. Initially, i believed that because things didn't go his way and ms wounded him, that he probably did not sexually assault her. I have rethought that and changed my position. Yes, he was wounded, probably very painfully. However, his wounds were not life threatening as originally stated. When he returned to bury mickey, he dug a 5 foot grave, despite his hand wounds, which were depicted as his most serious of wounds. No one is going to convince me that he did not sexually assault her during life or in her death. We are dealing with a very, very sick individual. Having painfully said this, it is in no disrespect toward ms, our heroine. Despite her best efforts, he killed her and admitted to that, along with killing lp. What he never mentioned nor owned up to was; no matter how badly injured, this did not deter his sexual appetite and original intention to sexually assault mickey / or have sex with a prostitute
that evening. I believe that just as much as his will to survive that attack, he was determined to get his jollies off, show her / punish her / make her pay "for what she did to him." it was all her fault. Again, he is not responsible. That is how it stacks up in his mind. He is the victim. As for myself, i have never been raped, thankfully, am not a forensic physchiatrist, or le. I am basing my judgement of the night's events solely on his past meniacal record of lying and trying to persuade people to believe him. All of these thoughts are my own and i mean no disrespect toward mickey, you or anyone else. I merely beg to differ with what you believe. Despite all of our opinions of what went down that night, it does not change the fact that she is responsible for bringing him down and being locked up for life in angola tonight + he will not attack, abduct, assault another woman because of her brave actions to fight him off. Mickey is everyone's heroine and bsl has ruined the lives of a loving family who will forever miss their brutally slain daughter and sister. It is so senseless and tragic. Having said all of this, i respect you and anybody else's opinion to disagree. These are my thoughts only. Very sadly.

I'm a little confused, FOTOBUG -- you quoted my post, but then addressed your long comment to chicken fried...?

ETA: Also -- couldn't help but notice that, when you quoted my post, there are two spots where the initial letter of Mickey's name is lowercased. I checked back, and it wasn't like that in my original post. Weird. Anybody ever seen that happen before, when quoting a post?

Ok, I have one question and I know it's delayed, quite a bit, but I just read the statement in support of the plea agreement again and I can't get this outta my head...

He attempted to clean out his z71.... How did he clean out his truck with her body still in it...??? It doesn't say he moved her from the truck when he got home.... Wouldn't that be significant?

I don't know if it matters at this point but, it was stuck in my head and I had to post it...

:what: Nice job! Way to sleuth...

No way he just left her in the truck!

I think someone noted that earlier.

If it's true that he took her body back to the house with him, it may be that he did remove her remains while he cleaned the truck and that is just not detailed in the document available to us. I think a lot of what he probably told LE is not included -- just the basic sequence of events, enough to "prove" him guilty of what he was charged with. I imagine there is another, more complete record of what all he said somewhere -- whether it or part of it will ever be made public, I don't know.

That is exactly what I was going to ask next... Is this a media-friendly version of the statement in support of plea. While a longer detailed version exists somewhere for official use only...

It is an official court document, Ravynne, but I do think it is less than detailed partly to keep sensitive and/or very graphic details from being made public at this time of grief and high emotions -- but mostly that way because it does not need to be detailed to fulfill its purpose in the justice system.

I don't know if there are more detailed court documents are not -- I'd guess there's not much more. But I would think LE reports, videos, recordings, etc., relating to Brandon's confession would be quite detailed. I don't know how much of what they contain will ever be made known publicly. Some of it could be.

Take for example, the LE interview transcript with the killer Gary Michael Hilton that Foxfire has posted on WS before. I don't imagine that was part of the court documents when he made his plea. But it was released at some point. I'd think something like that could happen here, too, but there is no guarantee it will. JMO

i have a hard time searching previous post bc half the time i can hardly find the forum which we are currently using. but can someone find the thread in which a poster alleged that the struggle went on in the truck? it was around the time they had found her body. its not hellu important, i just wanted to reread what the poster had said.

I posted this on 7/13:
To me if she had been unconscious or had built up his trust she may have attacked him with a knife or something while he was driving. This may be how he injured his hand and neck. She may have been going for his jugular while he was driving and he used his right hand to protect himself as she stabbed at him, injuring his neck, hand, chest and back.

He screwed up when he took Mickey. He wasn't prepared for a strong young woman who carried bales of hay, mucked stalls and had enough courage to jump over fences on the back of a horse.

the bsl's of the world do not have normal / rational reactions.
Their feelings (their own feelings) and minds are abnormal.
"that" was his way of punishing her for stabbing him. He had to
get in the last blow.

I'm not so sure. Rape is a crime of power and control, not necessarily of sex. If Micky did indeed stab him again at the cane field and he shot her, I think that was his final show of power and punishment to her. I think he had a severed tendon or two in his hand and he was in pain and bleeding a lot. He had his power-in this case he didn't need to use a forced sexual act to gain it-he gained it using a gun.

He showed her- he had power over life and death.

You were pretty close, weren't you, from what we know now?

This isn't the post I was trying to find for megmono, though -- that one specifically alleged that "LE thinks" Mickey attacked BSL "on the way out of town" or something very similar.

I know that's an official doc. I just thought it was a watered down version for release to the media, and a longer more detailed official version would be for internal use.

Took me awhile to figure out how to clarify, law is Greek to me!
I'm just pickin things up as I go along.

The mind is such a powerful thing, to think that someone could be in such a condition (stabbed, bleeding, pain..) and still physically be able to go through with that, it is truly horrendous and frightening.

Idk...

In the same vein, it's pretty remarkable how the Mighty Mick (also stabbed, bleeding, and in pain) was able to defend herself as well as she did. God bless her.

Oh, ok -- no, I don't think it's a watered-down version for media release. I think it's the full document, as it is written. It would be public record.

You are absolutely correct. She fought for her life, bravely and courageously.
She is such an inspiration!
