Breaking news in the LISK case

I agree, LINative, Newsday continues to lose more and more credibility everyday, although I'm usually most frustrated with their lack of follow-up. initially, it was a huge relief to see that an arrest had been made FINALLY! Upon reading the article, it immediately seemed to be a far stretch as L.C. didn't seem to fit the FBI profile at all....am I right? Newsday seems to have been the only news source to have linked L.C. to Gilgo, and it appears they jumped the gun considering the subsequent story several hours later indicating "no apparent connection." I hope none of the victims' families got their hopes up due to Newsday.

I also apply this to people on these boards. On the other LISK site a member was posting how the reason nothing was being done because OB people donated too much money to Bellones campaign. Then he posted all of the donations that came from an OB Address. I know this is untrue because the democrat chairman lives at OB and uses his house as an office. The collect the donations and instead of making multiple small deposits, they lump them together and make big deposits. So he was lying. This person has been the loudest person against CPH....now I question if everythign he says is true.

I don't know that anyone is lying though, at least not here; it's easy enough to get confused about the Bellone contributions if you just look at their campaign contribution submissions.

I like to give the benefit of the doubt before questioning someone's honesty. It may have just been a misunderstanding that had been spread with the assumption that person was telling the truth... as he knew it. I don't jump right to "he's full of crap" when it may just be an honest misunderstanding.

I believe someone else had corrected the statement. I could be wrong, but I would imagine that to be the case or an oversight. Like I said, I like to give people the benefit of doubt. I understand how it feels knowing the truth and having lies spread. It's extremely frustrating!

Which right time? The times of deaths of the ten known victims span quite a few years, and there's no evidence this guy was ever in the Long Island area. Isreal Keyes appears to have picked out a geographic location, killed, and then moved on; I'm guessing LISK was/is a long-time resident of the south shore of Long Island.

Didn't someone here speculate that LISK was in construction?
I'm just now reading about this guy so I don't know much else right now except. He enjoyed what he did,wasn't going to stop and had murder/disposal kits all over the country including NY. He confessed to eight and alluded to more.
We won't ever probably know about the others because he killed himself.
