Huntsville police are investigating a reported child abduction.

Police said there is no confirmation from an adult, but that a 12-year-old girl said she was walking home from school on Hawthorne Avenue when she passed the alleged victim. She said she saw two men force the girl into a gold-colored minivan with dark-tinted windows and drive off.

The girl told police the victim was a white girl with black hair in a bun, wearing a hunter-green polo shirt and khaki pants, which describes the uniform of Westlawn Middle School.
