Remains found during search for missing man Bobby Weaver

During a search by the Community United Effort Center for Missing Persons and the Newton County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) for missing person Robert (Bobby Weaver, III), human remains were found Saturday.

GREENSBURG, Pa. – A judge on Tuesday gave permission for a Greensburg state trooper to exhume the bodies of two children who’ve been dead for nearly 50 years in hopes that new evidence might crack the cases.
Trooper Brian Gross said the bodies, which are buried in a field near the Westmoreland County Prison, are those of a teenage girl and a baby.
 
Suspect named in Jacob Wetterling disappearance

Investigators have named an Annandale man as a suspect in the disappearance of Jacob Wetterling, the first time a suspect has ever been named in the 26-year-old mystery.

Authorities say they arrested Danny James Heinrich, 52, at his home Wednesday night on suspicion of receiving and possessing child *advertiser censored* and have linked him to the abduction of the 11-year-old boy. He has not been charged in the Wetterling case.

Possible human remains were found during a search connected to the disappearance of a Connecticut couple who have been missing for nearly three months, state police said Friday.

State and local authorities responded Thursday to a vacant house in Weston, about 15 miles west of Bridgeport. The remains were found on the property and taken to the medical examiner's office for identification, state police said.

A New York City EMT who was reportedly suspended without pay for making an "unauthorized stop" to try to save a choking girl’s life says he has no regrets about his decision.

"I'd do it again," Qwasie Reid, an EMT with the company Assist Ambulance, told Fox News this week. "If I know there's a child choking, I'm going to do my best to help her."

The step-brother of Becky Watts has today been jailed for a minimum of 33 years after being found guilty her murder.

Nathan Matthews, 28, was found guilty of Becky’s murder on Wednesday (11/11) following a five-week trial at Bristol Crown Court.

Matthew’s girlfriend Shauna Hoare, 21, was found guilty of manslaughter.

Today (13/11) Matthews was jailed for a minimum of 33 years and Hoare was jailed for 17 years.

Paris shootings and explosions near Stade de France kill 18

At least 18 people have been killed in several shootings in the French capital, Paris, as well as explosions at the Stade de France.
At least one man opened fire with an automatic gun at the Petit Cambodge restaurant in the 11th district.

A BBC journalist at the Petit Cambodge restaurant says he can see 10 people on the road either dead or seriously injured.
He says police have now arrived and sealed off the area.

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (Press Release)&#8212;On Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:40 p.m., Scottsville Police Department received information that 7-year-old Gabriella Doolin of Allen County was reported missing by her mother.

They were attending a football game at Allen County High School.

A search began immediately.

25 minutes later, at 8:05 p.m., Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green received a report saying that Doolin&#8217;s body was found in a creek, in a wooded area behind Allen County High School.

The Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office in Louisville is performing an autopsy to determine the exact manner and cause of death.

KSP has labeled Gabriella Doolin&#8217;s death as a homicide.

The case is currently under investigation.

Suspects killed, others arrested in Paris suburb

A major police raid, also involving military troops, is currently taking place in the northern suburb of Saint Denis.

A police source in Paris told CNN that three suspected terrorists have been killed in the raid, and three police officers have been injured. One of the dead was shot by a police sniper, according to CNN affiliate BFMTV.; another, a woman, blew herself up with a suicide vest, the Paris prosecutor's office has confirmed.

Three men who were inside the apartment have been arrested by police. Their identities are not known at this stage. A man and a woman have also been arrested and placed in custody near the apartment in Saint Denis.

The apparent ringleader of the attack Abdelhamid Abaaoud, is the main target, a senior Belgian counterterrorism official told CNN but the official cautioned authorities weren't certain that Abaaoud was at the location.

UK - Officers searching for Kayleigh find a body

Officers searching for missing teenager Kayleigh Haywood have discovered a body in a field in Ibstock.

The body was found shortly after 10pm tonight (18 November).

Formal identification has not yet taken place. Kayleigh’s family have been informed of the discovery.

Kayleigh, from Measham, was last seen by her family at about 6pm on Friday 13 November, when she was dropped off outside Ibstock Community College, in Central Avenue.
Chief Superintendent David Sandall, Head of Crime, said: “Tonight, we have discovered a body in a field. While formal identification has yet to take place, Kayleigh’s family are aware of the discovery and enquiries are continuing.”

Two men, aged 27 and 28, remain in police custody arrested on suspicion of murder.

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Authorities have arrested a 67-year-old man for the sexual assault and murder of a San Francisco teenager whose body was found buried on a beach some 30 years ago, officials said on Wednesday.

John Joseph Scott was arrested in Topock, Arizona, on Monday after the cold case was reopened earlier this year and DNA evidence from the scene matched his, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

The statement said Scott had long been suspected of murdering 19-year-old Sharon Ray, whose partially buried body was discovered by sightseers at Pescadero State Beach, some 45 miles south of San Francisco, on Oct. 30, 1983...

UK - Kayleigh Haywood investigation &#8211; two men charged

A 28-year-old man has tonight been charged with the murder of Kayleigh Haywood.

Stephen Beadman, of George Avenue, Ibstock has been charged with murder and one count of rape.

Luke Harlow, 27, of George Avenue, Ibstock, has been charged with grooming and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Both have been remanded into custody and will appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court in the morning (Friday 20 November).

Kayleigh, from Measham, was last seen by her family at about 6pm on Friday 13 November, when she was dropped off outside Ibstock Community College, in Central Avenue.

Three suspects arrested for murder, rape of Amanda Blackburn

INDIANAPOLIS (November 23, 2015) – Fox 59 News has learned that three suspects have been arrested for the rape and murder of Amanda Blackburn on Indianapolis’ northwest side two weeks ago. They will also be charged in three more burglaries, including a rape at the Westlake Apartments.

The suspects are Larry Taylor, Jalen Watson and Diano Gordon.

Watson and Gordon were in custody on parole violations. Taylor, who was previously taken into custody and released, was re-arrested Sunday night at a relative’s home.
