Brent Turvey to Discuss Case with Wendy Murphy

She's got him on the back foot!

Yes, she did! You GO GIRL! What part of the panties were in a new pack, and placed on JB by the killer, so therefore there could not have been secondary transfer...did he not understand? Geez.

I thought the program was a disappointment. I like Wendy, but she talks too much and we didn't get to hear Brent say much about dna. The touch dna is what's new in the case, but most of the time was taken up in discussion of really old stuff -sweater fibers, handwriting analysis, pineapple.

The show should have stuck to the dna issue.

Hi guys, I wasn't expecting Wendy to call in as early as she did. I had her scheduled for the 2nd half hour. After Turvey, and I didn't want to cut Turvey off early and only discuss with Wendy, because I wanted to be fair towards him.

Thanks everyone for calling, and that Jameson called in using different numbers. And I was trying to be a moderator for the discussion, but was busy deleting some comments some trolls had written.

I thought it was interesting, I like Wendy and Brent both.

I listened the entire time (a few blips but I was hanging-in)...many thanks!

Is there any chance you will do another show on this most important subject, perhaps with fewer guests and pre-screened questions via email instead of callers? (hint hint)

Christope, I guess that is my fault. I am new at this, and I can't yell over people. I tried, but I just couldn't. LOL

There was a lot of questions, I wanted to ask, but couldn't because of all the talking over and stuff.

I thought Wendy was great, man I would hate to go up against her in court if I were a lawyer.

I like them both too, and I wasn't being critical of you, just suggesting that we needed to hear about dna because that's what's new.

That's cool. I wasn't being critical, though it probably sounded that way. Just a suggestion for next time. I like Wendy.

Actually I have a show scheduled for Wed. With some of the bloggers with Women In Crime Ink.

I have Donna Pendergast scheduled, she is a prosecutor in Michigan. Andrea Campbell a forensic specialist. Stacy Dittrich a detective now crime writer. Pat Brown a criminal profiler.

I've had them on, and they don't talk over each other.

Yes. jameson adds nothing.

I'll say! The caller from area code 802 was none other than... ME! And I had hoped to be on longer so I could get to refute some of the stuff she said, Levi. I HAVE seen the tapes of the interviews, and it's CLEAR the Ramseys were the ones on the defensive. And tell Brent that Patsy Ramsey herself gave an explanation for how her sweater fibers got in the knots of the cord that strangled JB that could not have happened according to her own book! OOPS!

I'm glad she's on our side!

I would have loved to have you on longer. The system only holds so many at once.

Thanks for calling in. I don't know how many times that Jameson called, using different numbers, and she has filled up the comments section with nothing but BASHING of the show.

I understand.

She said that the accepted explanation for the DNA is that JB scratched her killer and he bled into the crime scene. No, that did not happen. JB had no DNA of any value under or nails or the amount of flesh you'd expect to be there if she had. It's another Smit-jammy myth.

If she had someones skin or DNA under her nails, why didn't they compare THAT to the touch DNA they found?

I've had them on, and they don't talk over each other.

My recent and only extended experience with live casts included video and chat. I was exhausted after each event. Talkovers and typeovers are so common, particularly with certain attendees...hard to keep up as a visitor...far more difficult for the Moderator!

Speaking of which, I'd love to hear Wendy Murphy for the full hour, on her own. Methinks she can handle it! :)

Same for Brent Turvey...he sounds just as bright as he reads...was a real pleasure to hear him.

Wonderful show you put together...thanks again, and also for the advance notice of Wednesday's broadcast. I like Pat Brown a lot and expect her to be a most excellent guest.

Kudos, Levi!

Levi,
You did an AMAZING job. Both Brent and Wendy wanted to talk. You kept it under control and had to screen calls and had to deal with trolls.

Levi, you will never please everyone (as I have found out believe me) but just keep on doing what you are doing. You offer an important service.

Please let us know about each show. I know I would like to listen on a regular basis.

Tricia
PS. Jameson's job in life is to try to annoy the hell out of everyone. I bet she has 14 cell phones from different area codes so people can't screen her calls.

If she had someones skin or DNA under her nails, why didn't they compare THAT to the touch DNA they found?

Well, the only people who say she did are the people directly in Ramsey employ or close to said people.
