Unless he had the clothing identified in some way as to owner, or together with other items belonging to that woman...

That is a good idea. If BSL had multiple items from various women, he could possibly have a way to ID who they came from.

Well interesting, while looking at the Hues Road Google map I posted above, I noted that there is in fact another part of Hues Road that one accesses off of Stringtown Road (which is off of Road 223).

http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com...a=X&ei=_rEqUP6pDIP48wTy_4CIBw&ved=0CAkQ8gEwAA

Now am wondering which part of Hues Road the burned truck was found? The 2 different Hues Roads seem to come together - except for a gap between 2 properties.

What was in his head for him to select this location to torch the DWT?

"An evidentiary hearing is a form of judicial proceeding that has several different uses in legal systems. In some cases, the term is synonymous with a preliminary hearing, which allows a judge to decide if the prosecution has enough evidence to proceed to a trial. The term may also be used to describe a type of trial where evidence, such as witness or expert testimony and documentation is presented to the court in order to reach a decision on a civil matter.

At a preliminary evidentiary hearing, a judge may be trying to ascertain two main criteria. First, the judge must be given evidence that the alleged crime took place in the jurisdiction of the court. This will not only deal with where, geographically, the crime occurred, but also if the crime is within the scope of the court's power. A regional court, for instance, would probably not be willing to prosecute a case that clearly involved a federal crime, as this would be beyond its jurisdiction. "

It was an angled gravel road, off a larger paved road, just like Pinseclair Cemetery. He seems to like these - maybe explores them when he sees them.

wait a minute...there is a girl missing from spring that lived out on Farm Market Road if I remember correctly. I'm to spent in my prior googling...can someone help me. Let me see if I can pull up the post I made about her missing.

Ok I was thinking of this: Makayla Taber missing 3/7/12 IGNORE THIS POST except maybe the map...Taber was found ALIVE

http://www.missingpersonsofamerica.com/2012/03/makayla-taber-missing-from-texas.html

She lived off of Farm to market 2920 but this is away from where the truck was set on fire right? (just woke up here)

Here is Map to show distance to where the truck, person he was staying at, and missing girl

What scares me is that supposedly Brandon works either one or two weeks at a time offshore and is then off for one or two weeks at a time. He apparently makes decent money and has had a reliable vehicle.

In a week to two week time frame you can cover a lot of ground. That leads me to believe he could have victims anywhere in the country.

I would be curious to know if he has been away for any extended periods of time that don't correlate with his work hours.

This is what I was thinking too. Through the years there has been talk of an I-10 killer, and in the past year there have been a few national cases that were off the I-10 across the country. This seems to fit with his jurisdictional blindness MO (just from what Mickey has shown us). Might be worth looking into.

Like you said he had the time as well as the transportation & means.

Edited to add this FBI article & MAP of possible Serial killings off of Highways in the US.

More on that today:
http://www.klfy.com/story/19289684/texas-cold-case-may-have-links-to-brandon-scott-lavergne

"Low and behold, on that hunch, I pulled all the information from the Louisiana DMV on vehicle's Lavergne owned and has owned," said Sanford. "And at the time Ali went missing, he owned a white, GMC 2005 extended cab truck with the same digits that were mentioned in the tip line."

Sanford says Lavergne frequented that area of Texas because of family ties. And now he's working on pinning Lavergne to that spot around April 26th, 2010.

A lot of times when people have been in prison for years when they get out they like to take long drives and explore back roads. I think it is kind of like cave men being in a cave during the winter, etc. and when the spring comes they like to venture out to new hunting grounds.

I think this is what BSL was doing.

Wow. It's possible that all any of us know is just the tip of the iceberg.
