In short, sounds like there's some mental issues between the two of them.

I feel so sorry for those children. They're going to need a lot of help and support.

It looks like there might be fingerprint bruises on the mother's arm in the Disney princess (SnowWhite?) pic from August 1, 2015. Not to excuse her in any way, but maybe another piece of the puzzle....

Several neighbors recalled an incident several months ago in which a number of children were out in front of the house late at night working under floodlights to put sod in the yard.

Code enforcement had visited the neighborhood and was citing homes with unkept yards, said Gary Stein, 32, who lives on the street.

There were two adults and maybe four or five kids who looked relatively young — maybe around 10 years old, Stein said.

“I thought it was weird, but I’m the kind of guy that doesn’t want to get in anybody’s business,” he said.

I mean I get not wanting to be “that neighbor”. But if someone, anyone, had been the nosy neighbor, maybe the kids could have been rescued a few months earlier. Im not blaming the neighbors at all. But a bunch of young looking kids who you’ve never seen before, laying down sod under flood lights in the dark, has to raise a red flag. The outdated page boy haircut on the dad would be enough to spark my interest in the family in general. Then add on late night child labor? I hAve no idea what I’d do in that situation if I was their neighbor. We live in a society where you don’t want to accuse people without facts, because that’s wrong and potentially very damaging to the person being accused. But that also means we are hesitant to act on our instincts.

Just sick and creepy, especially the dad!!! Why did the feel the need to renew their vows every few years or so??? Feel so bad for these poor kids/adult kids!!!

Mom Facebook 2013. Her eyes remind me of someone low on iron. She very skinny in profile.

I could not tell if those were dark circles under her eyes, or makeup.

I imagine having that many babies is rough on the body.

In both of these pictures there are 12 children. in the wedding renewal posted 2016, it's the same 12 kids, all 3 years older, plus the child born in 2015. So where is the child from 2013?

Additionally, In Dec 2010, on this photo, they commented that 'in 9 months we'll have another one". https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...043288147.1792.100001809545334&type=3&theater So that child would have been born around Sept. 2011, and would have been 2 in the 2013 photo. Where is that child? There are children missing, or children who ended up not born....IMO.

So, some of the girls in the wedding pics are well into adultood, based on the news articles saying 7 in the family are now adults. I notice none of them wear any makeup at all, while Mom often has heavy eye makeup (not just in the wedding pics). Fits with thinking there's strange religious/personal beliefs by the parents going on here... MOO

Well *that* is the million dollar question. For the sake of the children, we will probably never know. Such a tragedy. I'm doubling down on prayer for these kids.

One thing is for sure those parents look NUTS in their booking photos and the mother’s expression is inappropriate for someone just arrested for extreme child abuse.

I lived in that area area for about 2 years. It’s a strange place. Lots of different types of folks. Within the past 15-20 years it has changed from more of an agriculture area to a residential one. Many people born and raised there still keep to themselves like the ranchers did. The new folks are from all walks of life racially/culturally and it isn’t a melting pot unfortunately. In fact I moved from the area because of he feeling that I was being mad dogged by ppl every time I looked them in the eye. It is mostly working class folks as well and not many retired people - so lots of people not home much to notice a neighbor’s odd patterns of behavior. Lots of ppl too busy dealing with going to and from LA in that crappy traffic all day. I grew up formative years in Atlanta, GA and CO and there is a much different sense of community in Perris/Riverside, CA when I compare them.

long story short: all my friend I made there don’t plan on staying very long.

Perhaps miscarriages, especially given her age. I also saw the “in 9 months” comment which struck me as odd for a few reasons. Most women don’t announce their pregnancies so publicly until after the first trimester. Given her age at the time, it seemed strangled that she was so quick to announce her pregnancy at such an early stage. She could have just been heavier in 2013, so I’m not going to speculate on a possible miscarriage or otherwise. But if she did have one or more miscarriages in those years (which wouldn’t be surprising given her age), she certainly defied the odds when she later gave birth at 46.

Our kids are all mine and my husband’s together... 3, 5, 12, 14 and 17.

This “mom” is scary as all get out. How do these people even end up with someone as screwed up as they are to go along with horrors like this?! I’m heartbroken for these kids having been treated in such a way. I’m also really glad that the 17 year old was able to get help before they killed one of them.
