I am surprised that they let Fregozo go free. It is a risky move considering that they let Felecia go and now she skipped town.

Wonder why these simpletons pooch their lips out for pictures? And they seem to want people to get a view up their nostrils the way the tilt their heads. And the pictures just end up looking like mugshots.

Since LE has said that Rios was killed, I wonder who the two "boys" were who ran to the neighbors when they were pepper sprayed.. I had assumed it was Campos and Rios, but maybe it was Campos and another male.

I purely don't understand the youth of today. And for a number of "todays" in the past. It seems like these kids desperately wanted to be thugs, and they have succeeded.

I think a lot of kids are being raised by television sets and computers; both of which are full of violence.........they simply emulate what they are taught. With both parents having to work these days, they come home exhausted and just don't take the time to teach their children what is right and wrong. It's a sad situation and I don't see it changing any time soon.

HEMET -- The mother and stepfather of a teenager suspected in the murder of another teen whose bonfire-incinerated remains were found in Hemet have been released from custody.

Jose Juan Seym, 29, and Maria Alvarado Seym, 45, were set free Tuesday, one day after they were to make their first court appearance in the case.

Prosecutors have not charged the couple because of the ongoing investigation into the death of 17-year-old Adrian Rios, said D.A.'s spokesman John Hall.

Ok, this is getting hinky. I thought they were held on a $million bond?

I am sure in a day or 2, the Hemet PD will change their minds and issue an arrest warrant but then will have no clue where the parents are, seems to be the trend when it comes to this case. I mean with all of that evidence at their fingertips that have not made one single arrest which will result in charges.. I think they should have asked the Riverside Sheriffs for a little help.

It's not their jurisdiction.

Maybe they're being released because LE is hoping they'll slip up and lead them to Jose?

Thats what I figured they did when they released Felecia Sharpe.. Hopefully there are undercovers following family and friends of these creeps

I'm pretty sure they know that and won't lead LE anywhere, BUT, perhaps their son will contact them???

Yeah they better have phones tapped and stuff like that...
Hopefully the Campos kid will slip up and get spotted by a citizen who will then report him to the police. Shouldnt be hard, just look for a little peanut headed punk..

Yes, in any way that they can lead LE to Jose. Whether it be by him contacting them or vice versa, none of which can happen if they are in jail.

Hemet police arrested the parents of a missing 17-year-old girl wanted as an accessory to murder this morning.

The parents of Felicia Sharp were arrested during a search warrant at the home in the 200 block of N. Ramona Street in Hemet. Police were searching the home looking for contact the parents had with Jose Campos and his girlfriend Felicia Sharp, both wanted in connection to the slaying of 17-year-old Adrian Rios.

During the search warrant, police recovered a Tech-9 assault rifle, a small handgun, multiple rounds of ammunition and paraphernalia from the Mongols motorcycle gang. Police could not comment if any evidence of communication was with either Felicia Sharp or Campos was found.

Police have been called to the Sharp house on Ramona Street several times before.

Last year, Sharp's father, Anthony Sharp, was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and pointing a shotgun at a neighbor in his front yard. He is currently facing eight felonies filed in August 2008 on weapons and gang charges and assault with a deadly weapon using a gun.

Anthony Sharp was a member of the Mongols motorcycle gang, Quinn said. The Mongols were indicted in a federal racketeering case last year that gave authorities the right to seize all paraphernalia with the Mongols patch as part of a criminal trademark seizure by the federal government.

Newspaper seeks to unseal warrants in Hemet bonfire killing

The Press-Enterprise has asked a judge to unseal three search warrants in the investigation of two teens charged with slaying a Hemet youth before burning his body in a backyard bonfire.

During a brief hearing Friday, Judge Michael Donner set a Feb. 10 date to hear arguments from the newspaper's attorneys and the Riverside County district attorney's office, which is seeking to withhold the documents.

In their motion, the newspaper's attorneys pointed to a state law that says search warrants should be "presumptively open" unless a court finds overriding interest that trumps the public's right of access.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At least five search warrants have been served in the case, and all but the first one have been sealed by a judge's order.
While serving the first warrant, police recovered weapons and fragmented body parts, including a severed and charred foot.
The Press-Enterprise is arguing the documents should be public record based on First Amendment rights and because many initial details of the case are already public as a result of the first warrant.
"Put simply, 'the genie is out of the bottle,' and the related records should be unsealed," the newspaper's motion states. "The gruesome nature of the alleged crime, the suspects' disappearance and the youth of the victim and his alleged killers have made this crime the subject of intense public interest."
The district attorney's office filed a counter-motion arguing the warrants should remain sealed. Prosecutors said releasing them would compromise the criminal investigation.
