Why would he take his son to the lake where there really isn't anything to do (IIRC there is no swimming at the lake) when the Ocean is so much closer unless there is another reason to go. Wouldn't AA have more fun swimming/playing in the sand at the ocean than going to the lake? (If he really went for the enjoyment of his son which I really doubt) I'm not from the area so I may be wrong.

Perhaps very good fishing that week if it was recently stocked. That's why I'm wondering if Dad did fish or perhaps the boy wanted to try and catch a fish.

I wonder if he was contemplating suicide at the lake and in the end couldn't do it? Maybe he decided to do it at the park because it was a place he used to take his son to?

I'm here as well. Trying to figure out how the lake feeds into this ... while not theorizing our little guy is in that water. Who does grandma know around there, and was she with them on Friday?

It feeds into the Santa Ynez river which is not currently flowing, due to the drought.

Very possible. He may have taken his son's life in Orange County and even dumped the body out there. Maybe he spent time contemplating offing himself at the lake then decided to do it at the park? Maybe the park has some kind of significance involving his son?

Okay, so the father's birthday is April 24, the same day as the Armenian Genocide. AA was at Disneyland celebrating his birthday early, because he doesn't celebrate on the actual day...for obvious reasons.

But was the family celebrating his birthday at the lake on Friday? That would explain the lake day trip.

After watching it, it almost seems if LE believes Aramazd JR is still alive. (Unless the PC video is old. Their opinions may have changed).

Very curious as to what the evidence/property is that they found in dad's apartment. Computer maybe?

Maybe they really don't know whether this precious little boy is dead or alive. This gives me a small inkling of hope.

he would not have gotten week on week off if that was a concern. he would have day visits.

Hmm I wonder if he was ordered by the court visitation only with a third party chaperone? perhaps thats why Grandma was with them. If so that tells me hes been abusive to Mom, boy or he just isn't very responsible, cant be trusted so he has to have monitored visitation.

I've read (somewhere, sorry as I dont have a direct link) that Disney has given LE the tapes but not released them to the public.

The $10 million bail outweighs any possibility that LE believes Aramazd Jr is alive, imo. I think they are pretty sure they're looking for a body rather than a missing child. ☹️
