Because after the welfare check there is a three-hour gap before a missing person's report is actually written out, and an officer dispatched to the front desk to take it down and call Mrs Harrod back?

Something like that, yep.

If Mrs Harrod had not requested the welfare check, would she have been able to phone LE and ask how it went? Or would they only give that information out to the person who had requested the welfare check in the first place?

In other words, is it possible Mrs Harrod was reliant on one of Bob's relatives in CA to let her know what was going on?

If a LE well-being check was followed through at the Harrod's residence, and AH was there meeting LE with a key (?) And FH was the reporting (out-of-state) party- I can't see how there would not have been communication between AH and FH. And how AH would not have been the final reporting party?

Maybe I am confused, but it just makes no sense. I mean, LE will usually respond to a well-being check if there are not more emergent situations going on; but they also usually need a reason, such as known illness, domestic disturbance, etc.
I wonder if it's possible that there was more than one call in to LE that night/morning from different sources?

Oriah, scratching head. Something is so off here.

FWIW, I called AZ to do a well-being check on my DD (hadn't called Mom in 3 wks:what:) they called me back within an hour to let me know that they had been to her apartment and that her neighbors had seen her that morning.

I think many of us have puzzled over the 'offness' of Bob's missing person report. It seems to me there's not just one but three large blocks of time that just demand an explanation:

9.5 hours at least before there's a welfare check
3 hours after that until the mp report is filed
48 hours at least until Mrs Harrod returns and Bob's missing status seems to change or acquire more urgency.

Most noticeable is, it played out in distinctive stages. Players in this case were doing something during these times - what was it?

:truce:

Hi guys!! The network reached out today and indicated that they pulled the last scheduled episodes of Disappeared. They are reworking the network schedule-stay tuned for a new airdate.

Now, I think that it is perfectly reasonable to make inquiries on the facebook page regarding the possible change in programming ;)

Hang in there Fontelle- Bob is by your side every minute to guide you through this rollercoaster.

Was the entire Disappeared series cancelled? I can't think of another reason they'd pull the last remaining episodes. :waitasec:

I tape Disappeared each week, it is just about to start, and it is Bob's episode! I am surprised we are seeing it here before you all. (Ah, I see your schedule changed) :)

No, I dont think so Cubby. Episode manipulation can happen for a lot of reasons...maybe they are trying to extend the season. Disappeared's season is pretty short. IIRC, their season was ending in Feb or early March. If they push the shows out to April, maybe it means they are going to be starting a full season now...Most serial shows end in May and then repeat for the summer.

Here is a link to the show's schedule:

LINK HERE

The new shows occur on Monday night's at 9PM ET/PT. Note there are no new shows being aired over the next month, at least as of this post.

At first, when I found out, I thought that perhaps an arrest was coming. But when I learned about the other shows, my excitement subsided lol.

Hi all, I've just watched the ep here in Australia and of course found this thread here. I look forward to reading through it all and I hope that the truth comes out!

Humdinger, what channel did it air on in Oz? Is there a website where you can purchase episodes, and if so, can you link me?

I'm gnashing my teeth over this - I have so many family members over your way, but I didn't get the chance to ask them to watch it!

I am so excited! Is it the Long Lost Love episode? Can you give us an overview, guys?

You all are sure it is Bob Harrod, right, not Bob Wykell??

I think it's coming up to midnight in Sydney now, on Friday. I've been searching tv schedules there but I can't see anything yet.

I see humdinger signed off, but sweetcaro is still online...I reached out via PM and asked them to swing back in here.

It was on foxtel, one of the discovery channels. My free to air is out at the moment and I'm not normally up this late, so it was a freak chance that I saw it!!
I'll check on demand tomorrow and see if it's available there, or being foxtel, it might get replayed?

 Thank you for running back in here... sleep well!!!

Yep defs bob harrod.

I missed the very beginning, but they talked about him marrying and the daughters family meeting about the trust fund and the barber. I'm super tired, it's just past midnight here,so going to go to bed. Sorry to leave you all hanging... But I'll come back in here tomorrow!
