Just came back from a business trip and am looking to see what has been posted.

Sorry to see that he is still missing.

Bryce, dude...call home. Nothing is so bad that you can't talk to someone in your family and let them know you are alive and safe, even if you wan't to be alone right now to think.

Over 3,000 hits on the videos three versions, to date. Climbing very slowly but still climbing.

2 or 3 graves? Yikes! I strongly doubt any of them are Bryce, but I do hope that one or more families/loved ones get some answers from this.

Wow 700 missing in San Bernardino alone not including other cities. I hope it's not Bryce but realistically it could be anyone. My husband and I always thought of the possibility of foul play in the case of Bryce only because of the strange surrounding circumstances. Who knows maybe after the accident he was out of it acting loopy and met up with some shady character who gave Bryce some weird drug to help with accident pain and he overdosed and person panicked. There are so many things that could have happened. I just pray his family and friends get closure soon and that he is safe.

Here we go again in Cali. Multiple skeletal remains found. Too many wackos in this state. :(

And this too, "Skull found in Will County" reported on October 11, 2013.
The article mentions a bunch of excuses why nobody should be concerned about a human skull being found.
So, do any of the news outlets every follow up on these stories? It's been over a month since this human skull was found in Illinois. I've checked for updates about it every week since then.
If the news isn't going to close their open ended stories, why bother to report the information at all?
Our system is too closed off from the public imo. It is painful to care when no answers ever seem to be shared with the general public.
Like, so what?, a human skull was found laying around and no one can say who it belonged too.
Quit being nosy people!!!!

Well, since no one has called in to report their head missing I suppose it must not be that important.....:waitasec::waitasec::waitasec:

You are so right. I read the article and it is incredibly condensending to us.

Like this part....
"Police are saying there are no indications the skull has anything to do with any high-profile missing persons cases from Will County."

Not to worry people, it is just from one of our LOWER-profile cases that never gets attention and the family wont care OR
It is just from some high profile case in ANOTHER county.

And it gets worse with this part...
"The area where the skull was found has many coyote dens surrounding it and is known for illegal garbage dumping, police say."

Not to worry people, the coyotes drag stuff like that here all the time OR
people are dumping crazy stuff here all the time.

I'm flabergasted :scared:

Because, hey, doesn't everyone have a skull in their garbage that they dump illegally? (OK, I'll admit to a Styrofoam one occasionally, but I always dump them legally.)

On the news tonight, they said that they bodies have been there for at least a year or more. That was according to the report anyway.

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/video?id=9324954&pid=9324132

Four bodies that's crazy. Sooo creepy. Maybe a serial killer? Media reports have been inconsistent. I think it's too hard to tell how long the remains have been there for sure until examined by forensics. Desert conditions are the worst for body preserving. Hot and lots of critters. I read the remains were scattered do to scavengers. This is absolutely horrific.

God rest their souls.

I don't know about that. Mine has been missing a long time! :giggle:

ETA:correcting spelling errors, which just proves my point. Ugh!

Everything above is JMO!

Just putting in my 2 cents, when I read 4 people's remains the Mcstays come to my mind. Or drug deal gone bad.
And speaking of gruesome discovery http://www.theolympian.com/2013/11/13/2826973/more-human-remains-found-on-nisqually.html

http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/23950035/human-remains-found-near-arizona-utah-border Many people many corpses. Very sad there's such a violence

FWIW McStays were my first thought too. It all makes me very sad.

With all due respect, I think you are reading way too much in the article. They are merely reporting facts and not generalizing or speculating, which is what media is supposed to do. FWIW, that skull could have been there for 50 years. Apparently, LE determined that it obviously did not belong to a recent missing person, so they did not comment further and I don't blame them, but that's just me.

No offense intended.

That's a nice flyer. Very reassuring to Bryce, or anyone who might have seen him, but still letting people know how much he is loved and missed. And how much his loved ones need to know he's okay. Very fine balance there, but I think they've achieved it.

As long as it does not backfire, as in it kind of makes it sound like he is out there, reacting like a 12-year old who ran away because he might be in trouble. If he is alive and okay, he might be offended and choose to stay away. I just have not seen a poster like that for a 19-year old man, I guess. But I understand their reasons and their hoping. I wish I felt he was alive and able to see their posts. Always, JMO.

Tell that to the families who, for years and years, decades even, have a missing family member they've been searching for. I bet every human skull is of interest to them.
If they're going to report a human skull has been found, they have a duty to check and report on the results imo.
How do you think LE determined the skull doesn't belong to a missing person? If no teeth, it may take awhile (or not even be possible) to uncover the identity of whoever it once was. That's another story.
For instance, Stacy Peterson has been missing since October 2007. Is that recent or not? What does LE mean when they say recent?
