City Park 930 east 6th street http://www.incorona.com/parks.asp The movie theater is now Covenant Life services Sunday 10:00am Thursday 7:00pm on the same street as the park. Just click on the photo of the park.

Not much of a walk but at 8pm at night it would have been dark, wondering if her old friends remember anything that night? If i was the staff i would have rung her parents not just let her go alone:facepalm:

In 1971 the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in "Corona" California moved to China Lake Naval Air Warfare Center near Trona California. http://www.chinalakemuseum.org/history/overview_pages/nwccl.html http://www.cnic.navy.mil/regions/cnrsw/installations/naws_china_lake/about/history.html http://doenetwork.org/hot/hotcase2170.html In the case of Cheri Jo Bates her father worked at Corona Naval Ordnance the killer could have worked with him. http://zodiackiller.fr.yuku.com/topic/6259/Zodiac-Calendar?page=2#.UtJX3suA05t http://www.zodiackiller.com/Bates.html http://doenetwork.org/cases/889dfca.html

I read in an article that the movie theater is now de-funct, and has been turned into a place called Amour Outreach. It is located on 517 Ramona Ave and the corner of East 5th Street. It is only a few minutes away by walking from the downtown area of Corona. Here is an image of it in it's earlier days.

I read in cinematreasures link that the previous owner had committed suicide by shotgun in the downstairs office. https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=23315655&postID=114134925767467085 http://projectionistworld.blogspot.com/ Also I've always wondered if the case of Cynthia Hernandez could be connected she went missing from a movie theater in Covina. http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/862dfca.html http://www.zodiackillersite.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1758&p=21057#p21057

I just thought it was strange that Victor took the time to set up the site and never came back to answer any of the comments. I think LE should take a good blood hound into that downstairs office or basement!

Bumping. Missing for 44 years now.

After reading through this thread and various links, there doesn't appear to be much information on Debra and what could have happened to her. I can't imagine what that would feel like for her family especially after all this time. Hoping they receive some answers and that they can find Debra.

The theater staff should never have kicked this child out to the street at night. Also, I don't understand why her friends didn't leave with her.

A suspect has been charged with Cynthia Hernandez's murder. http://glendoracitynews.com/2016/04...harge-suspect-in-glendorans-cold-case-murder/

Larry James Allred served time in prison for a 1975 kidnapping and rape. While on parole in 1978, he kidnapped two young girls, age 16 and 17 and raped them over a seven day span. Here is the link for his recent arrest for selling counterfeit Disney pins in 2013. The article comments about Allred serving time in 1975 and the crimes in 1978, http://tinyurl.com/ju9ufsq Last week he was charged in the 1976 disappearance of Cynthia Hernandez of Corona Ca. Covina Ca and Corona Ca are only 31 miles apart. I hope LE will take a closer look at Allred and his movements during 1971, despite he being only 16-17 years of age.

Bumping for Debra, wondering if her case is connectd to thanf Cynthia Hernandez. As Chuck Norris' Chin ponted out, the respective abduction sites were not far apart. A sixteen or seventeen year old is old enough to commit his first atrocity, as we know too well. Being close to Debra's age, she probably would have seen him as a peer, a potential friend Hence, she would have trusted him and he may have lured her to a place of no return.

I am maternal cousin to Debra - don't know how I missed that update, but, thank you for posting it. It was interesting to see the age enhancement of her photograph.
I think I have confirmed this in the past, but, just in case it wasn't on this thread, her siblings are:
Beth Sevier
Michael Pscholka
Tim Pscholka
Jeff Pscholka
As stated earlier in the thread, her parents have passed on (Sharon & George Pscholka) as have both of her maternal uncles and one aunt; she has a maternal aunt still living in Moreno Valley and many cousins, as well as several nieces and nephews in and around Corona and Riverside.
Thanks again.

The horror that I have is that Debra was abducted at the park and probably killed a short time later. I know that there is no evidence of this, but I just have a frightened feeling about this case.

Back in 1971, there weren't anywhere near the concerns for child and teen safety as there are today. It is at least good that the Department mentioned above in the link about Debra shows their care by having cases that "go back to 1948, and that they never close a case, until closure is found." Good for that! I just wish that every LE and missing persons unit in the country and around the world would never close a case until a person has been found safe or their remains indicate they are deceased.

Closure and justice needs to happen for Debra and her family.

Satch

46 years have passed since this child, Debra T. Pscholka, disappeared from the face of this Earth. She will be turning 59 in November.

I linked her family members, noted as living, as of 2012. Along with the various missing 'links.'

I realize this is more likely just a bump. However, you never know if someone might recall 'something' from this child's case. All IMO as always. Please, find a way home Debra :rose:
