This is the latest news after one month? We don't know how Eliza actually died, we don't know in which rooms or which order the family members was shot, nor do we know the condition of Eliza's Mother and Uncle shot in the face. Still no police sketch. I know I sound like a broken record.
 What is the need for keeping this so quiet?

"Officials with the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said the case remains sealed, and Long Beach police did not have updates Tuesday."

also

"The gunman moved through the home, shooting the adults before taking the baby. Details, such as what order the victims were shot and in which rooms, have not been released."

Is it possible the gunmen did not know know this family had a baby and only discovered it after all of them were dead and then panicked, thinking they could not just leave a baby there, but then after they took the baby, panicked and realized they couldn't keep her either???

I am standing by my theory. I think that someone from the neighborhood saw the outdoor baby shower and decided to steal the newborn. Probably to sell on black market. They broke in and shot all of the adults, ran with the tiny baby. But I don't think they knew how fragile a newborn is. I think they tried to hide her in a bag or backpack while they headed for the border. And the poor sweetheart died. JMO

This is my line of thinking, although I'm not sure about the motive.

The homeless man who found Eliza is having some problems getting over the trauma, so locals are having a fundraiser for him.

It's a free family fun day, put together by a group of citizens with the help of the mayor and city manager.
Come out and show your support with this family fun day. There will be shopping from local vendors, food and family fun! Please share this event with everyone and lets show our support for Harrold!

I am still completely flummoxed by this case. I literally have NO theory. None. Zip. Nada. Just a bunch of unanswered questions.

I don't have strong theories on this case. I think it has to be revenge related, they owed money for gambling, drugs, etc. No other explanation makes sense to me.

have to agree......

The Imperial Beach community had the event today to help thank the man who found Eliza. It's very touching the way this community came together when Eliza was found, and now for this man. He had been jailed before for taking cans from the dumpsters, so coming forward when he found Eliza put him at risk of getting ticketed or jailed again, but he did the right thing coming forward for Eliza. The community of Imperial Beach rocks!

That man's compassionate response was the one bright spot in this sad situation.

are the mom and uncle home? are they staying in their home?

amazing isn't it how little has been reported in MSM......difficult to gather support if story goes quiet....MOO

there's been no update on the condition of the other and the uncle.....

Eliza is on my mind today. I was hopeful there was an update to be found somewhere :(

Local news is reporting that sketches have been released of the suspects.

I wonder why they waited so long to release the sketches and the video.

With sketches, a vehicle description and video of the vehicle it shouldn't be long before they are found. Unfortunately they have had a long head start to hide.

With this information we can safely assume they wanted the baby and dumped Eliza when the story got out.

A Range Rover is an expensive vehicle. Maybe they were in the business of selling babies?

The man and woman look very similar in the sketches, siblings possibly?

Glad to see they finally released sketches, seems 3 months late, but hopefully there is resolution in this case.
