Maybe if LE charges him, we will get some answers, unlike with Lisa, Ayla, Haleigh and others.

This is a major change:

Our baby Ember (HM) - 25m
We as the family have decided to close this group, it has been too overwhelming to try and keep up with. We are out searching for Ember, The horrible comments have been extremely hurtful to Jamie, who has not been named a suspect and is cooperating with the police. You can only imagine the shock she is in. She loved her husband. Think about if this was you in her shoes. She is a 19 year old girl whose baby is missing and her husband has been named a suspect, you have both sets of grandparents here. Nor –Cal Alliance for the Missing has set up a page we are asking everyone to like. This page will provide updates and information on searches www.facebook.com/FindBabyEmber

It appears this new community page has the family's endorsement, but will not be "family run" :moo:

Clicked on the link and the first post I read said Marc Klaas is sending in a search team with dogs!

Have they searched with dogs already or no? This should have been done right away in my opinion.

Yes.

"We are being assisted by SAR (search and rescue) volunteer teams including K9s from several counties.

But the Klaas group also has cadaver dogs. Sad to think about but probably important at this point. Plus it's a good trained team and it wouldn't hurt to see if they can find anything. Fresh eyes and all that.

Just jumping off your post... Oh I'm not ready to let her off the hook either. It's just that right now there's no indication from LE that she's involved and if she isn't then the last people she needs filling her head with cries of "MG's innocent!" is his family.

And if she knows more than she's telling then I'd rather see her with her own family who IMO would be working hard to convince her to tell LE the truth. MG's family is all about protecting MG. All I've heard from them are excuses for MG's actions. At the same time here's what JG's family is saying:

“I keep praying, telling her, ‘Grandma’s going to find you,’” Ember’s grandmother, Deborah Tomlin, said in tears as she scrolled through pictures of the missing baby on her phone Sunday afternoon. “I came out here to save my grandbaby, not to find her body…God, I never imagined myself looking through dirt for my grandbaby. You want to find her, but you don’t. I don’t want her to be lying in a ditch or a gully.”
...
Ember’s aunt, Megan Stevenson, pointed out how Ember had missed seven doses of the medication for her seizure disorder by Sunday afternoon.

MG's family will never encourage JG to speak the truth if it means losing him. At least there's a chance with JG's family. IMO.

It seems the couple is married but living separately, so there likely wouldn't be a custodial arrangement by law. It does not seem like the husband would be begging to have Ember ("it") part-time or anytime, and it sounds like at 7 months the baby was still needed around-the-clock care due to her condition. I wonder if the wife left, hoping the husband would get his act together, but was trying to keep him involved, and maybe needed a little break, so convinced him to take Ember for a night.

Can you imagine the triple horror of realizing your baby was gone, the man you loved was likely responsible, and you (inadvertently) enabled it to happen?

Was there a call between the two before the husband called 911?

I keep thinking of Delano Wilson's case and Bianca Jones.
I wonder what the possibilities are here of a no body murder charge.

It's been mentioned Ember was probably alive when she was seen at the gas station, but.... I think of D'Andre Lane having a family member buckle a deceased Bianca into her carseat.

When was the last time someone other than MG saw Ember?
What time was he seen on surveillance when he purchased the gas?

Being under the influence and caring for infants and children DO NOT MIX.
It is very clear MG is not a recreational drug user.

I just hope MG mans up now and tells the truth about what happened to and where his daughter is.

Apparently MG's cousin's girlfriend is the last person besides MG to see Ember alive.

A neighbor on the Noosha Lane property recalled seeing Matthew Graham on Wednesday after he returned from Happy Stop Market.

Sara Chabino said Graham stopped to get water and had Ember in his arms. She said she did not see the time and only knows that it was before the sun went down on Wednesday.

It's hard to tell what "before the sun went down" means. And we don't know if Ember was awake or asleep. Sunset on July 1 was at 8:44. I live further north and have been watching out the window since about 8. Right now it's 8:22 and it's not noticibly dark yet. I'll keep checking.

The time stamp on the surveillance video of MG taking Ember out of the truck in her car seat at the Happy Mart is 20:05:53 (8:05:53). The stamp on his truck passing by later is 21:04:51 (9:04:51).

IDK we have lots of trucks at my rural house and none of them have shovels in the back. Just saying. However, would he be dumb enough to use the shovel and leave it in back of truck. Surely he is smarter than that or not?

I would think he wouldn't leave the shovel in the back of his truck, but then again, I would not have thought a dad would hide his baby, either...

I have a question that I hope someone can answer.
Was baby Ember awake or sleeping when he took her in the store?
Did anyone hear this fussy baby cry at the store?

I wonder how she knows she saw Matthew after he went to the convenience store.

Baby was sleeping as per the clerk at the store

I read this particular post on FB - she said he came to fetch water for the evening carrying Ember in one arm and the water container in the other. She said it was before dark, after the trip to the store.

Yeah, right? How do you work that into conversation? "I need some water and oh yeah, I just got back from a munchie run at Happy Mart." Sure. :notgood:

That plus "before the sun went down" makes me wonder about SC's statement.

Baby was sleeping as per the clerk at the store

What? Then something is REALLY wrong with his actions and story.
I thought he said he was driving around to calm her down and yet this fussy baby is 'asleep' in the store???
Nope not buying it.

Is it possible or probable that this sweet baby was deceased when he took her in the store?

I mean if she is asleep why drive around to calm her down?

If baby Ember was deceased that might explain him not strapping her in.

Dear Lord I do not like the way this is headed.

The gf of the cousin who lives there (and she also lives there) has been commenting on a local news FB page that this area of the property is sort of the "dumping ground" and that no one lives in that old trailer. She appears to be rather ticked off about the media giving the impression that this is where they were all living.

The page is here https://www.facebook.com/KRCR7 but for the life of me I can't find the correct, direct link now and her comments. I'll see if I can find the direct link, unless someone else does first.[/QUOTE

I think I found it

Relative (Pm) said The photos of that trailer and the garbage are for the landfill. Matthew has no dogs his cousin does. Matthew lives on the other side of the property. Property is 2 acres.

Just bumping this post forward as it has the link to a news page where the cousin's gf makes some comments. :)

It may have been posted already and I missed it, but is there a link with the clerks statement that Ember was asleep?

If she was sleeping when he arrived at the gas station there was no reason for him to continue driving her around to fall asleep. Did he perhaps go on a drug run with a sleeping Ember and perhaps he left her in the hot truck? Or she fell not being buckled?

I sure hope they are using cadaver dogs on that truck and the car seat.
