sarx! So great to see you here on Ember's case my fellow :websleuther: and SAR expert! I know there are updated maps being posted to the thread as we speak.

This case has been fraught with muddy waters, and the search efforts haven't been exactly well-coordinated. That said, I'm wondering if you'd be able to review this case and give your input?

If you have specific questions, there are enough of us here to research links, etc. to hopefully find what you're looking for.

I know that IMO, your input is highly valued. We've worked several missing cases together, and your opinion means a lot to me (I'm probably not alone).

So if you'd be willing (no pressure  ) we would sure appreciate your take!

Whatever is heard and/or posted there must remain on that thread per TOS (like Vegas). Just wanted y'all to be aware. If you want to take a look or lend a hand/ear....

Hi, This is my first post and I could be mistaken but I think that looks like a dogs leash hanging from the stroller. I could be totally wrong though.

Thanks Kimi! Always great to work with you as well!

This is a really tough case given we basically have to last known locations and aren't really sure which is right, so they both have to be run as searches.

A six month old is so small that if we are talking recovery, you can imagine how easy it would be to walk right past her. A week in, I would recommend going back to ground 0 (both of them) and really slowing down and clearing thoroughly. The rush sadly is over, so now it is time to really eliminate areas. Getting GPS tracks of all searching would be very helpful ( as is with every search).

Given the drug of choice, anything is possible sadly, and memory of what actually happened may be blurred.

Do we have a map of what has already been searched?

There is so much area out there, I have to believe that LE called off their searches because they are working on something we are not privy to. Just because we aren't hearing anything doesn't mean they aren't active.

Thanks Cubby!

Sorry - I thought it would post the quote from PLT asking about the green rope but I didn't click "Reply With Quotes"...

I do have a question. Do we know if the times from the surveillance tapes (from the convenience store) are correct?

Yeah, right? How do you work that into conversation? "I need some water and oh yeah, I just got back from a munchie run at Happy Mart." Sure. :notgood:

That plus "before the sun went down" makes me wonder about SC's statement.

Maybe he offered to pick stuff up for the cousins when he ran to the store, so they knew when he was going to the store and then knew when he got back. Or maybe they heard the truck leave and return... I dont find that statement by the cousins sinister nor their knowledge of when MG would leave or arrive at the property. The trailer and mobile home seem pretty close together and most older trucks are loud.

Thanks Cubby!

Hi persiankittymama,

That's an excellent question! IIRC from the Jessica Chambers case, there's no guarantee the timestamps are synchronized to, say, the Atomic Clock. There are always variances in clocks, depending on how they are synchronized!
I'm trying to remember the other case where this was a big issue, but the name victim's name escapes me. He was a student who was found, allegedly beaten, and stuffed into a wrestling mat at his high school. The surveillance tapes were a mess!

Although we have no indication (from LE) that the timestamps aren't above board, the fact that the lighting is so similar, yet the time is an hour apart, does make one wonder! If you're correct, the entire timeline would be called into question. Maybe that's part of the reason they're asking the public for more video??? Hmmmmm. #FoodForThought....

I know MSM tweeted a couple of maps of areas searched early on.

It just occurred to me it's possible MG, being under the influence, had forgotten he had already given her medication and gave it again. It wouldn't be hard for a parent to accidently overdose a baby when high/drunk. Toss in all his legal problems and I can see a young father being afraid to contact 911.
This is precisely the sort of mistake I feel may have occurred. It is also possible he left her outside over night, and an animal took her. I'm sorry, I didn't want to actually say that, but it's been on my mind.

Here are tweets from a reporter on the scene from the Record Searchlight out of Redding, CA. There are more tweets that I didn't bring over mentioning Ember's family by name:

Vigil for missing baby Ember. Graham family is here including Matthew- her father and person of interest @KRCR7 http://t.co/PqdnY0jERH

Oh, he decided to go to the vigil for "it"?

The only difference I can see is the shadow of his parked truck. An hour later, the sun isn't shining on that specific area.

Very observant. Good catch!

Hmm, well, gives the general area I suppose. Thanks for pulling them. With easy phone apps these days and Google maps I wish searchers would take advantage and always use them for detailed tracking of areas covered.

sarx,
I'm going to see what I can access via SM and also tweet @ashulman_RS and her cohort to see if there are any updated maps for you.

If anyone else has search maps for sarx, please share!

I know I've snipped MSM articles that have listed locations searched, but I'm not sure how helpful that would be.

Very good question about the camera time. They are often off, with the exception of bank ones. Sometimes only a few minutes sometimes hours.
