Not all former LE have them. Some do, some break clean 100%. When my brother was county LE, our entire family had one & listened while he was on shift. When he left, most of us stopped listening. I have a close friend who is retired dispatch and she won't touch one with a 40 foot pole.

A strong young man could easily carry a 5-gallon jug of water in one hand and a little baby in the other. Or maybe he has a wagon or something to roll the container along. He had to lug water over to the trailer probably several times a day... every day.

Easily. Could *I* do it, no, but I know plenty of people who could. I ask them for help carrying heavy stuff often.

Its confusing to me. If they found it there that means they were already there. So the pacifier didn't lead them there. Something else did but the pacifier confirmed it.
Maybe cell phone pings?

Also, the pacifier doesn't indicate she's dead in my mind (although I do believe she is), but just that she was likely there.

I do wonder, if you've murdered your baby, how does a pacifier fall out of your car or out of the baby? That's just weird, IMHO, that the pacifier was found. If I were burying a deceased baby, a pacifier wouldn't fall off of me.

Sad, sad case.

The moment I heard about that missing hour of time I thought he purposefully killed her. He could've been carrying a live Ember to her death when the pacifier fell out. Sick.

That would be great for him, he'd say "see? I wasn't even there, the KIDNAPPER must have dropped her there".

I kind of think he's worried because if they found the pacifier, that means they are close to finding Ember. And charging him with murder. Just like scott Peterson ran when Laci and Connor washed up.

Omg, what a ***** show this has turned out to be!!! Like I had mentioned in a post yesterday...MG seemed anxious and detached at the vigil, almost as if he knew they were closing in on him! I hope this sad sad story ends with some answers and justice for the true victims. You are all so awesome!!!!

Deputies believe Graham is somewhere in the downtown Redding area close to Caldwell Park and Benton Drive or by the river trail. Anyone living in the area is advised to lock their houses and cars.

It is scary and if I was the locals, I'd be pretty upset that this guy was let out and even if they ' had to ' let him, they should have had LE watching him at all times if they suspect he killed his own child. If they truly believe hes' a POI in his own child's death ( assuming she is ) then , of course, any regular citizen is at risk when he's out and about and now armed and dangerous and obviously desperate. Bad situation.

Sheriff Tom Bosenko said in a press conference Saturday night, search and rescue teams found a pacifier on the side of the highway on Friday in the Ono area. The pacifier was similar to a pacifier that belonged to Ember Graham. Deputies alerted Graham's mother, Sheila, and Ember's mother, Jamie, to tell them about the new evidence.

According to deputies, Graham is supposed to report to a probation officer seven days a week. He at one point had an ankle monitor, but the court ordered it be removed. He did not report to his probation officer on Saturday.

Around 1:15 p.m., deputies received word from Sheila Graham that Matthew was missing. She also reported a semi-automatic missing and that money and a cell phone were stolen out of her purse.
