The article says it was parked there since Thursday and they don't know how long overall. It may have been there since Monday after she last spoke to her mom and her phone was turned off. Imo
I’ve watched/read that KRON piece over and over trying to figure out what was meant by the “since Thursday” comment. I think it’s possible that the neighbor may not have even been home, or was not parked in a way that his dash cam recorded her Nissan, before Thursday. It’s an interesting comment in the article though. I personally think she was parked there starting Monday night- otherwise I think we’d have heard about her phone pinging elsewhere.

Speaking of, does anyone remember reading in an article (would have been past day or 2) something about her phone pinging on Menlo Dr “and farther north”? Could have sworn I read that, and it gave me pause, but now I don’t remember where.

What do you think happened to Teleka Patrick?

MI - Dr. Teleka Patrick, 30, Kalamazoo Media & Map Links - no discussion please

Folks here on websleuths found a huge amount of her social media, mainly Twitter, using multiple names. It was an unusual case, and we were allowed to post and discuss the tweets, but only in the basement. As I recall the vast majority of the threads were SM related and in the basement. I think they were deleted because a huge part of her mental illness was an obsession with a gospel singer, who really had nothing to do with Teleka at all, and he and his family had been harassed by her.

Thank you! Now I want to know what the basement is, haha!

Sounds like their job is to work with egotistical designers and teach them how to play nicely in the sandbox together. Literally and figuratively. (Sandbox reference for you developer types).

Amateur opinion and speculation
From what I’ve read they did a lot of different things but the matrix reference ... nailed it! Thanks for the sandbox reference . Playgrounds always have dirty sandboxes.

Thank you! I must have misread those lines. I had always thought since mine day too being it’s .8 miles away from the last ping of Menlo and Vegas in SJ. I have no idea where the other ping locations are coming from.

I think this is the article you're looking for. :) MOO

Police say they actively searched for missing Utah woman
The police search that followed is not in dispute. Weinstein had called Verizon Wireless and was told that the last location of Valenti’s cell phone that yielded a signal was on Menlo Drive north of Almaden Expressway. Officers searched the area, as well as local hospitals,”over the course of several hours” but did not find her or her rented Nissan Murano, according to police. Police said they also searched streets further north, where Valenti’s phone pinged a few more times before shutting off.

Indeed! Thank you.

Now if that isn’t confusing. “Pinged a few more times”. ?

ETA: It’s been so widely disseminated that Vegas and Menlo was her last known location. Sigh. Well maybe it’s nothing more than she drove around the neighborhood for a while and it wasn’t worth noting in other articles.

Gosh, I just re-read Pommy's timeline again (EXCELLENT job, as always) and something about her conversation stood out to me about the Matrix- the phone call to her mother, where she talked about coming home for Thanksgiving, then started talking about the Matrix.

Could she have been trying to hint at something? I know it may sound far fetched, but thinking about how panicked she sounded according to her husband and mother, it almost sounds like she might have been afraid of a colleague?

Maybe I am just reading too much into it. Seeing @rosesfromangels post above, and the "litterbox" comment- just made me wonder.

This was discussed a bit on an earlier page of this thread. Her husband being in the profession he was in, may not have wanted his private life out there since her SM is quite public (or was.) I have colleagues in the same professions and medical doctor friends who also feel this way. A lot don't have Instagram and FB for this very reason. In contrast, her job was all about networking, and I think her personality lent itself to that career and sharing that on SM.

That's how it is with my husband so I get it. And if I hadn't obsessively followed the Teleka Patrick case I would have thought it was a ridiculous story that wasn't even believable fiction! That was a wild ride. That poor, tortured girl.

The article states they aren't sure how long it was parked there only that it was definitely there Thursday.

BBM:
"It’s not clear how long her car had been parked here on Bose Lane.
Video from his dash cam, now in the hands of police, shows her Gray Nissan Murano rental car had been here since Thursday says Hao."
JMHO, but I think her car was there from Monday to Saturday and that she expired before dawn on Tuesday. I can't imagine her not being in touch with her husband or family for 5 days.

"Borderless" seems like Silicon-Valley-speak. Here's a quote from an article partially titled "Technology Will Lead to a Borderless World". The boldface is my addition....

"Soon you'll be able to join a VR world, and earn virtual currency in virtual reality," says Silicon Valley entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan. "Which means that, for a good chunk of people in the world, the majority of their waking hours are going to be spent in the Matrix."

also - did EV say she was "tripping balls" in any of her conversations that day? If so, she basically let them know that she was under the influence of drugs.

“TeamLAB: Borderless” is the name of the digital art installation/exhibit Erin went to while she was in Tokyo. People refer to it as just “Borderless” to differentiate it from another TeamLAB digital art installation (“TeamLAB: Planets”). She posted a selfie taken at “TeamLAB: Borderless” while she was in Tokyo. I’ve been there, and it is, in fact, SUPER-trippy (even if you’re an old square like me and haven’t done recreational drugs in a couple decades)!

I agree, and believe article is saying that there is confirmation via Mr. Hao's dashcam video, that rental vehicle was parked on his street since at least Thursday. I do not think vehicle was elsewhere until Thursday.

Memory on Hao's dashcam video most likely begins recording over after a period of hours when memory full. His camera may have also recorded vehicle on Tues and Weds (prior to memory full/deleting) but only days remaining on his camera are probably Thursday - Saturday when she was located.

It sounds to me that Hao didn't necessarily notice or take mind of the vehicle until two people pulled up behind it on Saturday. MOO

On Bose Lane in the Almaden Valley is where the body of Valenti was found in the back seat of her rental car on Saturday.

Neighbor Qilong Hao was watching when two people pulled in behind a car parked in front of his home and made the grim discovery.

“I saw one lady and one gentleman come by in a white SUV and saw this car and look through the window,” he said.

I also think she was there from Monday on. I hope LE is asking for Ring doorbell camera footage (and other door cams) from everyone in the neighborhood to see if she was driving around in there for awhile before parking and of course video from the houses surrounding where she was parked.
