Also, re the wait time at the Davis facility, some days are busier than others and if I recall, garbage trucks go right in, as opposed to individual drivers, who stand in line.

The Davis Street facility in San Leandro isn't like the landfills we've seen LE searching for other missing people in (and found them). It's a huge sheltered pit--people pull up to the edge in their vehicles and dump trash in. Workers drive tractors over it all day to compact it down. I've been there, and it's nauseating--not for people with weak stomachs! For some reason it seems as if this would be a much more difficult place to retrieve a body from. Impossible. However, I believe they take license plate numbers when people pay on the way in, so they would have a record of cars and trucks that have been there--I hope LE has checked this out.

The other possibility that stands out in my mind is the area where Hans Reiser dumped Nina. It was in the Oakland hills.

If the landfill takes license #'s that probably eliminates the landfill!! Hurray...You can bet LE has asked for the list of dumpers since HC was last seen at WalMart.

Doesn't anyone have any contacts in the Oakland copshop? They need to share!

bolded by me.

I guess LR would not place Hasanni's body anywhere where they would be able to identify him like that. I'm sure LE is more than one step ahead of me on this, LOL.

I don't have any contacts in OPD...

Popping in to apologize for not getting back to you all yesterday! :blowkiss:

I'm still soooooo worried about our little guy & why he hasn't been found yet. I was so hoping that he would be found by now!

I wanted to let you all know that I started tomorrow's curent thread early, due to an eyelid infection in both of my eyes. While at my grandson's house I rubbed my eyes cause they were blurry & irritated not realizing they were swollen. :banghead:
Waited till this morning & headed to the ER (since I've had 5 eyelid surgeries over the last 28yrs from thyroid eye disease) since my lids were more swollen & in pain. I have a bacterial infection called Blephritis!

Sorry off topic.....I wanted to explain why I started the current thread early, & there is one new article which I have posted in it already!

Going to go back & read to catch back up with you all......you've all been very busy I see....sorta see :sleuth: ! Going to read as much as my eyes can handle & will have to stop.

I really am :prayer:ing that :sponge: helps lead someone to our little guy!
:sponge: needs to get him to whisper a bit louder so he can be found.

I thank all of you who haven't forgotten about our little guy & hope that you all have had a wonderful holiday weekend with your family. :blowkiss:
I spent mine in bed today though I had a blast with my grandson yesterday even with my lovely swollen eyes. :floorlaugh:

:praying: For Hasanni!

AWC--I hope the medication works quickly and takes care of your eye infection. That sounds uncomfortable. Take care and feel better soon!

Just FYI, I was just watching older news footage (I believe from 8/15 or so) where OPD said they had 100 people out at Coyote Hills searching. I believe it's already been officially searched.

I know what you mean about LR's arrogance. But remember criminals rarely admit nervousness, and many think more of themselves (and their "perfect crimes" than they ought to). I'm worried too, but am hoping this is one of those cases where he overestimated himself.

The latest point of interest has been the Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont. The area crews were searching was only about a half-mile from Hasanni's house, but far from the parking lot in Oakland where he is said to have disappeared on Monday. Crews searched the park from about 9 a.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. but they came up with nothing.

If I lived in Ardenwood and needed to hide a crime quickly I would dispose of someone in Don Edwards Regional Park and the Dumbarton Fishing pier. This is exactly opposite of Coyote Hills but you can drive out to the pier. I quickly posted websites below for your further review. I see that one of the entries below claims it is closed in August but I have never seen it closed when I have driven by.

Is this working? This is the last post. Soooo long ago. I know you guys are there...or did you all :runaway:

Good evening everybody! I'm here ~ now to read back and see what's been going on today. I so wish I'd come here one evening and see Hasanni's been found.

Interesting article about last weekend's volunteer search:
http://oaklandnorth.net/2009/09/05/...-galvanizes-community-but-yields-no-evidence/

It mentions that CB is employed by her father JB as a paralegal, and includes mention of JB's ex-wife in the search efforts.

Additionally, it mentions that the group moved on past Lake Elizabeth to search Coyote Hills. I'm wondering why, considering LE had already done so? The volunteer group also apparently searched Don Edwards Game Reserve.

Did we ever figure out where he banked? Since he wasn't from Fremont he probably banked with a large bank. Citi, BofA, WaMu.

One of my theories is there was an incident (probably at the junkyard, because crying was reported) and someone lost their temper and taped HC's mouth. As all parents know, a crying child can't breath through their nose and will suffocate if they can't breath through their mouths.

The bank trip would serve as a ruse to dispose of the body. Disposal would have to be very close to home because he left one child alone. August 10th was a Monday. Why did he have to go to the bank on the 10th day of the month? If we knew why he went to the bank, we could make a judgement if it was necessary or a convienient excuse. Didn't he know he would be on tape without children at the bank? OR, did want to be seen without children, because there was only one left.

What bank does he use?

I should probably read the article myself, but did they take cadaver dogs? Or just look around for disturbed earth?

I logged in and out twice to clear cookies and re-entered, but am still having problems. I only can get to the most recent page when I post something.

Just thought you'd all abandoned ship. (what happened to the crocodile eatting a smiley face? I did so want to use that!

Bless them for their effort. I read the article and there ws no mention of cadaver dogs. It's been a month, perhaps they couldn't find any trace of HC because of decomposition. What a shame.
