I've searched everywhere but I can't find the name of the bank LR went to that day...Does ANYONE know???
Also,Could he have possibly gone to the bank, first??? Would PYP require CASH ONLY?? Anyone local been there??? (It's too early for me to call, and I have to go to work before they open, checked their website...no info there. If someone else wants to find out, that would be GREAT...TIA)
Clothes Found Not Those of Missing Boy
Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said today that clothing found by volunteers searching for missing 5-year-old Hasanni Campbell doesn't appear to belong to him.
However, Thomason said investigators will do a lab analysis to try to determine if there is any connection between the clothing and Hasanni, who suffers from cerebral palsy and was reported missing from the parking lot of the Shuz of Rockridge shoe store in the 6000 block of College Ave. about 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 10 by his stepfather, Louis Ross.
Thomason said there haven't been any new tips in the case in recent weeks and police do not condone the private searches such as the one conducted on Sunday.
However, Sherri-Lyn Miller, a San Leandro print shop owner who has been organizing regular searches for Hasanni, said today that there will be another search for the boy in Hayward and Fremont on Saturday.
Miller said volunteers will cover the same ground where law enforcement officials searched on Aug. 15.
Don't know if this has already been posted, but it seems LE has officially confirmed the clothes are not Hasanni's.

I wonder why the article states that JC works at the store (Shuz). I thought she lost her job. Guess it's more shoddy reporting.
If he were on his way to the salvage yard and had to get cash, why leave the kids home alone? He said he left them at home for "5 minutes" to go to the bank, so I've always thought it was in the afternoon ~ assuming Hasanni was even still alive. :waitasec: MOOwww.pickyourpart.com (Hayward location)

Takes cash and credit cards but no personal checks. I don't know if LR has credit card but the reason for the bank visit could have been related to the visit to PYP (to get cash).
I don't think the name of the bank has been released and I don't think we have a clear time line as far as what time the bank visit and PYP visit took place.
IMO, the bank visit was earlier; the PYP was later but still before noon.
Not trying to clog up the thread but just wanted to come say goodnight to all and to Hasanni. 'Night.
At this point, in the case's lull, it's not a bad thing to give it a bump every once in a while.
