This video in the alley, why would a resident supply this to the media rather than to LE? Or did the resident give it to LE first?
It's a missing person's case with connections to big shot shady characters and where FBI is involved after all.
Might LE have given the resident permission to hand the video over to a news station?

The resident doesn’t need permission - free speech. News station doesn’t need permission - freedom of the press. Unless there’s a court order (rarely granted IMO), LE can’t restrict it. JMO.

Wow...Now we are again being told that Seven was found on the 29th floor, not the 28th, and also now, this reports says the security video was taken from a business nearby, which makes more sense to me than that is was taken by a resident, which is what was reported last night by the CBS station. How the video was leaked and by whom is not a big deal necessarily, but where Seven was found most definitely is, and I hope LAPD knows which floor it was. I can't recall ever following a case here where almost EVERY tidbit that leaks out is suspect, as far as being accurately reported. I hope the time referenced by the report is accurate. JMO

She clearly has had dental work. I'm sure her x rays are somewhere, just not available to JW, the self appointed spokesperson. JMO

I truly think that H&F building is the key. The videos from around it. The news says that a RESIDENT gave the video. What about all the other cams that MUST be in that area? I feel her disappearance has been slow-walked! MOO.

I haven’t caught up on most of today’s posts but read some inquiring about her last time seen and the alley video time stamps.

The Missing Persons report states her last time seen was 10/17/21 at 16:00.

I thought that odd and incredulous, too. It would seem that she has had cosmetic dental work done.
Not available would preclude some easier identifications through other agencies , I assume.

I took that to mean they just don't have them yet. She obviously has dental records.

She's on the LAPD Site. It's under releases or news tab, don't remember which it says. I wondered if maybe they don't list there until someone has been missing for a bit or if they have investigated and still not found the MP.

I thought her hair looked longer and maybe darker too than it did in the video of her leaving her home, but I assume that is due to maybe camera distance and quality, angle and lighting. Her two friends seem sure it is her, so I will trust their judgement on that. JMO

I’m still not sure if this is really Heidi, unless she’s wearing a wig. The dog is hers, but the hair is completely different from the video of her leaving the house on Helms. The hair is not only a different color but isn’t straight and has a different massing. The body mass also looks a little different to me, but that’s based on very limited visuals..

Well the two don’t preclude each other and we found that it is listed on a different page.
Also, we don’t know if it’s being investigated as a homicide. The RHD umbrella units investigate a lot of knarly other areas of crimes. too.

Possibly her hair was a bit wet when she was getting in the car, and/0r it was tousled by breeze on the football field.

Her friends recognized her, and IMO we instantly know people close to us by the way they walk/move, so I would trust her friends would know it was her.

Okay, but my point was the case is probably not being handled by the Missing Persons Unit and any tips are probably going straight to the homicide division, not to the MPU.

Exactly! I thought, "She has a mass of darker hair all of a sudden" but the two friends of hers haven't mentioned it not looking like her hair...very odd...unrecognizable in terms of the hair from the earlier video, I feel. MOO.
