And last seen at a bar? At 13? Great....

not exactly. the quote says "Sherry was last seen on June 1, 1984 in the areas of the White Horse Bar on East Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida."

keep in mind that the Namus profile was not done until about 25 yrs after her disappearance. it could be that the bar is the only business that is still in operation with the same name and would be more recognizable to people.

Nice work! Yes, that's pretty much how I was envisioning it, too. And almost certainly a cardigan.

Does it say the shoes had heels? I was thinking more along the lines of ballet flats. If she wasn't used to wearing heels, I wonder if she slipped trying to cross the highway.

Yep, low heeled pumps....And a small size 6 foot. At 5'4" / 122# with such small feet and large breasts, I think well nourished must just mean not super starved thin.

She probably DID wear doc martins or converse with this outfit... I can totally see it!!! Not sure why the pink shoes were purchased....????? She had to have left other belongings including her original shoes and at least a toothbrush and brush somewhere.

There must be other people in the area that have just not come forward ( or don't know) .. Or think they might get in trouble.. Or something. Roselvr is doing a good job getting the fb page set up, hopefully that will generate something.

I thought about that too. I think that Rosefromangels may be correct that Andrea was not simplay a homeless person living on the streets. Her physical condition tells a different story. If andrea worked as a high end escort or even had a well off older boyfriend that could account for the dental work if she is Sherry Young. I wish there was more information and a current photo of Sherry Young available.

The page for Sherry did say they are working on an age progression picture, as well as that DNA has been submitted ( no results yet). Yes, odd that is the most recent photo available, and yes, sad looking :(

Not meaning to get off track on Andreas page, but I did some checking. There is a picture at this link. That poor little girl. There is no telling what kind of end she met. This area was in the boonies so to speak back in the day. It was east Orlando and that area was run down and not very developed when I left there in the late 70s. I'm sure it wasn't much better when this little girl dissappeared.

What do y'all think of this? I could not decide whether the chunky knit sweater would more likely be a cardigan or pullover, so I put it in her hand. I wore this exact style of "jumper/dress" in the 90's, so it is just what I imagine in my head... I also tried to keep the face pretty generic (I'm not very good at faces).

hope that image works...

Going back over the thread to see what I've missed..
Wonder if the dress should be longer?

Her dress is reported as being of black cotton, ‘long’ and ‘ankle-length. It had at least one pocket because the motel key was found in it. Her t-shirt was red and long-sleeved and her sweater was a ‘bulky, hot-pink knit, ‘New Hero’ brand’.

It's all coming back to me now. I had a shorter version of a dress like that in the 90s. They were called pinafore dresses round my way. And it's also got me wondering about what happened to the shocking pink sweater I had too, with detachable arms.

Does anyone with local knowledge think it's more of a Seattle look than a CA one, for this time? I'm still thinking of those Goodwill shoes as well, that RE the homeless man said Andrea bought for the ticket price on the shoe. It does seem like a lot of money for Goodwill shoes in 1990, and I can't work out how RE knew. Did he go to the goodwill store with her? Meet Andrea after she had bought them and she told him?

I thought she bought those things on the day she died, so that would mean she left the mobile salesman's home (was that near Pacific Highway?) before the stores closed, went to the Goodwill, met RE at some point, then went back to the beach, then the highway. Also, I know nothing about blood alcohol/cocaine levels. Is it possible she had taken them the morning of her death, rather than the night before? I don't really have the timeline straight in my mind, tbh.

Didnt we have someone posting that lived that way & gave us info about the trailer park?
I can't imagine the shoes costing that much at Goodwill

I just saw this missing girl in another thread here and she made me think of Andrea. Now the picture appears to be much younger than when this
girl disappeared. Sherry Young dissapeared from Florida. Now, I am absolutly not saying I think this is a credible source but the psychic quoted in one of the articles did
say Andrea was from Florida.

I'm really glad they have a photo up; there are 2 on one of her other pages; but why from when she was what 5 yrs old? Very sad..

Has anyone seen the post from shawn from March 7, 2007, on the website Mrs Tigglesworth posted? He says he was kicked out of his parents house and 'I had a girlfriend from Gig Harbor named Andrea and she was also kicked out, we both decided to take a bus to Seattle and live on the streets.....'

He doesn't seem to have posted since then.

I imagined her jumper to be somewhat more boxy looking... that a-line look had been popular in the 70s and became popular again in the early 90s (as floral spaghetti strap dresses worn over t-shirts) but in 1990 I would guess a pullover dress was still likely to be more boxy looking. And the sweater I imagined to be a plain or cabled fisherman's knit either palest pink or hot pink, they were everywhere in the early to mid eighties and the cheap and nasty polyester versions would have been in the thrift shops by 1990.

As for dress length, one article said ankle length, one said calf I believe.

Re: the Two Andreas mentioned on the city beat page.... I was sort of confused about that too, but think that it was cleared up that there were TWO different Andreas at that time. The one from gig harbor had the boyfriend.

I did some looking around on google maps. I sort of have a visual. There was someone posting earlier that said all that was really around the area there on pacific coast highway was maybe a power plant and the mobile home park with older folks ( iirc). If she had used that bus route found on her, she would have come from the East. Santa Ana. Probably old route 64??? I found an old article that mentioned the line going to seal beach.

I found three goodwills close by. Have not confirmed which were around in 1990 but they are :
A: RIGHT near Newland , 18631 beach blvd. 714 274 0120
B: in Santa Ana, 2722 w. 5th st 714 541 0406
C: between seal beach and Westminster 5948 Westminster blvd 714 891 4918

Lastly, whew, I walked in google maps west of Newland to the pacific coast highway .. Pretty desolate *except* for a little strip mall. This seems to be right across from where She ended up if I did things right. Maybe someone else could take a look... In that strip mall is a super mex ( to find the map). There is also a music club called Blue Cafe which is now closed. ( you can read the sign from street view). I believe that back in 1990 it would have been called the Brigg. Now this club would have been a place I could imagine our JD And/ or Seattle punk rock Andrea going. Anyone local recall it? I couldn't find too much on the Brigg, like old musician lineups or calendars for the day, but it was definitely a cool/ dive/ artistic/ punk/ fishnet wearing kind of place! I was just trying to think where she may have gone to get a drink that evening. They have an old myspace page. There are also liqueur stores in that mall, so who knows really. I really feel like if we could just get her picture or chart to the right audience, well, you guys know....

Sorry so long and miscapitalized, I am on the tablet with lots of ideas!

What do you all think?

There is something about Christine's nose that looks similiar to UID. Close height, and weight, and timeline fits.

Name does not, but see above...

NAMUS:
https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/show/7610

According to her NamUs profile; Christine Miller has been located. Her Doe page is still working so I sent a message for them to check it out.
I'm going back over the post to get rule outs for the FB Page. Also feel we should follow up to get them added to her NamUs profile

Since she was 5'4"; possible it was midline between both?

Definitely... Probably what was supposed to hit calf length was a little longer on her. This
http://www.etsy.com/listing/1171037...are&utm_medium=PageTools&utm_source=Pinterest

is actually called a "jumper dress" more of the boxy look, but no buttons were mentioned, and she would have definitely filled it out on top. Not sure how much attention the reports pay to -fashion terms.

I thought she had two rule outs on her page, but did not see them listed! Am I confused? I think the only additional official one for sure on this thread is Aundria Bowman...

That last article I posted about said calf length, and a couple of the ones before said ankle length and long, I think.

We haven't had them in England for years, but is there any possibility CA had any of those luggage lockers people can use in 1990? I'm just thinking about Andrea's things, and the key with the blank tag.

I had wondered about that, too. The locker keys at one of the ski hills I sometimes go to are just like that, except the tags are green.

That would explain where she left her stuff.
