They were last seen leaving for a doctor's appointment in Yuba City, a few blocks from home, July 19.

James has dementia and Ronny has a heart condition. They both require daily medication.

"Their last phone ping located them in Glenn County between Hamilton City & Princeton. A family friend tells Action News there was a possible sighting since then in Willows and that they looked different than the pictures being circulated: Both had beards and Ronny’s hair is white."

Oh no it’s been almost ten days. Has this just now hit the media? Unfortunately as we have seen time and time again when a car is missing with the people chances are that there has been an accident, the car had a mechanical problem or they got lost. None of those scenarios are good for persons with health problems. Especially dementia. I am sure that the son would not want to leave his father alone. Hopefully they will be found alive and well.

Sad news. Their car was found in the Glenn Colusa Canal, just south of Hamilton City along highway 45. There were two bodies in the car.

A Lexus containing the bodies of two men was found submerged in a Northern California canal. The car was tied to a missing person alert out of Yuba City.

Investigators have not yet been able to determine the identities of the two men found dead in the canal or when the crash occurred.

Evidence found near the canal did indicate an unknown person was driving the vehicle at a high rate of speed on County Road 203, the CHP said. The vehicle veered off the east side of the roadway before the driver overcorrected and crashed into a tree. The Lexus then came to a rest in the canal.
