That's some good reading there!
, thank you.
Thank you for giving me the impetus to go read those comments.
Finally, the tears for this lovely young woman are rolling--the anger that I was feeling had reached a boiling point--I needed that release.
I did not leave my own comment on that board; instead I will put my trust in law enforcement and the justice system--most especially the justice system within the confines of whichever prison will soon be housing these two sick monsters.
The lives of these two sick monsters will be forever changed--they will now know what it is like to live in abject seclusion, tortured beyond belief, and at the mercy of those around them--just as they forever changed the life of young Jaycee.
They subjected Jaycee, and then her two daughters, to unfathomable depravity over the past 18 years. These young women will forever be affected by what they have endured.
With the love, comfort, security and help of their family, I can only pray that they will one day be able to look forward and know that the rest of world is not as monstrous as what they have been subjected to for all these years.
I pray that someone will step up--maybe many someones--to help this family in whatever manner is necessary. It is going to be an expensive endeavor to reintegrate these young women back into any semblance of normalcy. It is going to take years of therapy for them to understand and learn to cope with all that they have suffered.
I would hope that someone would make sure that Ms. Probyn would be given the wherewithal to never again have to go back to work so that she can remain focused on loving and caring for her long lost daughter and newly found granddaughters.
If I were anywhere in California, I would do my best to start a fundraiser for this family. Alas, I am on the wrong coast and not knowledgeable enough to know how to start something like that in California.
I so hope that if fundraising efforts are undertaken, that it is well (and nationally) publicized. I know that there are many people across our country, and probably around the world, who would love to make their own contributions to ensure the futures of this entire family.
God bless Jaycee, her two young daughters, Mr. and Ms. Probyn, and all the friends and family who are now almost certainly overwhelmed and joyous at this miraculous reunion.
