Excellent article by the El Camino College’s The Union newspaper about Juan.

Community rallies behind ailing family of missing engineering student - El Camino College The Union

The family tried to view security footage from the dispensary and businesses in the area without cooperation. How selfish not to help!

I can somewhat understand their reluctance to share security video with the mom for customer privacy purposes; however I do hope they have shared with LE; or that LE is getting warrants for the request of this video. This will be one of the most important pieces of evidence for the investigation.

I haven’t had much free time to be here lately so I just saw this. I am in tears. My first thought when I saw Juan’s picture in the first post was “what a sweet face” then I read through all the posts and see he is also a kind son, athlete, great mind, etc. My heart is broken for his mama and my prayers are going up. I am a boy mama too and they are always our baby boys. I am not anywhere near L.A. but am forwarding his info to friends that are very familiar with that area of L.A. I will ask them to keep their eyes open and spread the word.

Can we get a map with pins on his work as well as where the car was found? The El Camino College article says the vehicle was found running 2 days after Juan worked/was last seen. If that is accurate, where was it in the interim? It would be great to get home/doorbell video if possible. Sad that the business(es) and others already approached didn’t share that. It is odd that there was stuff like money, etc. left in the vehicle. Were there a lot of miles put on the car in those 2 days? I am thinking stolen for drug transport when I ask that. Because I am baffled.

I’ve wondered the same. Another week has gone by with no sighting of him at all.
Are his coworkers saying anything about his last day there? His cellphone without the SIM card...don’t like that at all. But we have to keep getting the word out in that area, somebody knows something. Any rewards out? I believe that CCTV will provide answers. I’m truly praying for you, I’m a mother of 3 young adult children, including a son and that bond is unmatched. Sending hope and light your way.

His employers are not cooperating with me or communicated at all. Which I find very suspicious. I hope the detectives are having better luck with them than what I did.

I wasn’t keeping track of the miles on my car. Just know that at least 145 miles that were left of fuel were all used up. I received my car back with an empty tank of gas

Thank you for your support. I hope that the detectives get a hold of all cameras as most companies requested a warrant to obtain them.

Thank you for posting everything @yajaira hernandez :)

From the LAPD October 1 update:
"Juan was actually last seen on September 22, 2020, around 3:00 p.m., in the 8100 block of South Western Avenue in Los Angeles."

So, does that mean he worked his shift or no? I don't know why I thought he worked a "swing shift" and started work around that time and was off later at night.
