Tips “from across the country” sounds like it could lead to wasted time. It would seem tips should be local and from party attendees. Her friend SS also said in an interview that the story should go out “across the whole world”. How can people in Europe or Japan help find her? I don’t get it.

She’s just a teenager speaking very casually, with extremes. She also said they are getting “ a million calls a day.” Typical teenager to not speak in exacts but to speak in feelings/in a dramatized way.

Yes, but this entry in the timeline shows that SS didn’t notice Kiely being too inebriated until later, after the 11pm car meetup up to charge their phones. “However, she changed her mind later..”

I’m looking for the link but there are soo many to sift thru now. SS talked about the conversation they had in the car when charging their phones and how she noticed KR was intoxicated and that is when SS says she doesn’t need a ride anymore. There is also a statement where SS says KR called a little later and asks again if she needs a ride home where she goes along the lines “I already told you, I got a ride” Someone here has to have this link. We talked about it quite a bit yesterday!

Very difficult situation … being aware of your surroundings, recalling events or being a witness to something is hard enough when you’re sober and it’s only moments later as an adult! I can’t imagine how many kids have their heads spinning - or maybe how few! Teens are in their own little worlds without partying so this whole thing probably seems so bizarre and they are having trouble recalling because there isn’t much to recall. Great that law enforcement is letting SS really take charge and lead the way on doing research from another angle, allowing kids to come forward and be involved.

Up to speed now....a few comments and hopefully @Runin530mtns can comment as they seem to be the "boots on ground" local (and not connected with family). I also assume @Runin530mtns lives in Prosser Lakeview Estates so it was good to know they are (finally) canvassing that area since there seems to be a couple of back roads into the estates from the Park or someone could have been in attendance/involved from there.

A. FBI is involved as noted upthread because disappearance was on National Forest Land (but also as it may involve across state lines abduction. More below)
B. I know from my summer southwest travels that almost all campgrounds in the Sierra's west range are swamped particularly on weekends. All types get out of Sacramento, Reno, etc. to beat heat or just get out in the mountains. No reason to think that MANY party attendees might have been from the surrounding campsites particularly on a Friday night.
C. Just watched interview with Jaegger (now identified ex-boyfriend). While someone upthread said he was "cleared" and is helping family search, I would be interested in the source of that comment. <modsnip: Quoted / referenced post was modsnipped>
D. Lost in @megs1477 timeline was an entry that FBI initially focused on "Site 4". One possibility is that site 4 is in the Lakeside campground. see screen print of the only "Site 4" I could find on the National Forest website of the area.
E. <modsnip: Quoted / referenced post was modsnipped> Does KR really try to go to Reno on a whim from the party or does someone she meet suggest it as Casinos are open 24/7?
F. Without further input from friends and family concerning mental state, a disappearance is the least likely, but not impossible. (The Lana Del Ray lyric line is a typical teen angst sentiment.)
From my experience over the last year in AZ missing persons, there is a lot the family (and investigators) won't be sharing about lifestyle, relationships, etc.

August 6 was a waxing gibbous moon, easily confused with a waning moon. It set at 12:21 am so it must have been very dark that night.

Westfall said they exchanged text messages before she left for a senior farewell party at the Prosser Family Campground which was the last place anyone, so far, has reported seeing her.

“And so I was just like, OK. Be safe. Don’t like, do anything stupid,” Westfall said.

Westfall said he complained about his day as she listened.

“Then at 10:30, she responded to what I was saying, and just said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry that you’re going through that,” Westfall said “And that was the last time I heard from her.”

Rodni’s close friend, Kate Cuno, said they spent the afternoon together on Friday, just hours before she disappeared.

“The day of the party, I hung out with her,” Kate Cuno, Rodni’s friend, said “We made creme brulee. Everything was normal. I don’t think she ran away or anything.

Cuno said they were in Reno the day before the party. Reno is a place where Westfall and Rodni could go for some alone time.

“I definitely feel like that in this current situation that she’s safe,” Westfall said. “I don’t know where she is. We don’t have anything to go off of at this point. But, I fully believe that she’s alive and well. And I fully believe that the two of us, three of us or other people are gonna bring her home safe.”
