At the end of the video, it says KH "declined to comment on the nature of his relationship" with Jodi. IMO, that confirms it was more than boss/employee. He also says he hasn't online dated in "years" and doesn't even have a working computer.

Apropos of nothing, I find it interesting that Jodi called him Harper in her letter/journal entry.

I also find it really interesting that Jodi's car was still at the house she was renting. How did she get to the ranch, which was 10 miles away, that fateful day? Is it possible whatever happened actually happened at the rental home and the scene at the ranch was staged? Jodi's family says no warrant was executed at the rental home.

I have a difficult time believing that KH has not online dated in years. Dia was online dating and I believe that is how she met KH. There are other women that have come forward that have connections to online dating with KH.
Was Jodi living in the house that DF had previously lived in or was that the other Diana?
I hope LE will check records of contact between the children, DF
and KH. Especially prior to KH being involved on the property or in contact with Dia.
LE needs to trace all vehicles thst have been on the property to their registered owners. I believe that will reveal a greater circle of individuals. From my knowledge I believe there are other individuals involved in the triangle/octagon etc.
Please ask questions... this may jog my memory to situations I am forgetting..
Thank You

Thanks, tvscum.

I am looking at the pictures of Dia's properties again, and I do see lots of antiques and one-of artworks, and that barn is a showplace, IMO. Very nice, clean, tidy.

Anyone who loved horses would have loved Dia's barn, and might have been tempted to take on a job there. I would have. Especially if I had a horse of my own, which I could board there, ride there, and be with all day long while i worked. Pay? Pfft. I'd have worked there for room/board alone. Maybe less. Creepy old dude comes along with the deal? No problem. Like most women, I've been charming cods all my life. I would have seen such a job as a dream come true, and would have felt like the luckiest person on the planet.

I hope Jodi felt that way, may she rest in peace. I really do.
I think Dia was happy there, too.
Such a shame, that both of them are gone.

I hope LE has eyes for ads for lady ranch hands in the area. IYKWIM, MOO

I jogging my memory of what has been revealed here. One thing I believe never been mentioned on this thread.
There are a couple of ways (posssibly several routes) off the Bonita Vista place without driving out of the front gate. One would probably not drive those routes in a car but with a vehicle capable and no mud it would not be difficult. One could even pass over the mountain the opposite way or in another canyon with the proper equipment. Plenty of country behind the ranch with trails.

Excellent questions. Jodi seemed like a sensible woman. Hard to believe she would even choose to go looking for Christmas trees to cut down on a rainy night. Makes no sense. It takes time to cut it down, and it was almost dark, and it was raining. Did she have tools to cut down a tree? It seems by KH saying that it makes her seem foolish and impulsive, and he had nothing to do with her decision.

Also are we talking about her renting that big house? How could she afford it unless KH was paying her big bucks, and Jodi's sister says not. I think we must all feel there's more to this story and the whole truth has not been revealed yet. The relationship seems odd between Jodi and her boss KH.

Please don't dismiss this woman's death. How do you explain KH texting that to Jodi, and then she ends up dead? It's downright haunting. She wasn't a flaky girl. She sounded quite together and aware that he might be a "computer dog". Preys on women, I'd say. I get the feeling she knew lots about KH and she knew some secrets. She might've known more about Dia's disappearance. Why was he going to have to say good-bye to her?

Jodi wrote about a weird comment texted to her-- "I'm really feeling very strange about the "always going to miss me comment" in the text a few days ago. What the hell was that about and you never did elaborate. Anyhow, I don't like the way that sounds, not a bit, it's weird.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but - I'm pretty sure that is a desktop computer monitor back there. Not sure if it's sitting on top of a low-profile PC setup (like my folks' Lenovo) or perhaps a home security camera hub....

There are a LOT of cables and cords "hiding" behind that armchair.

I put that in quotes because they are clearly visible in Image #16...

KH seems involved in Dia's disappearance, but it seems likely others were involved. There may be truth in what he texted to News8. One of Abrams' workers handed her over. Handed her over into the hands of those who executed. Two or more other people were involved it sounds to me. They'd do it for money as in financial gain, and ultimately the ones directing this diabolical plan stand to gain the most.

In a series of text messages with News 8, Harper indicated he received information that one of Abrams’ workers “escorted her off the ranch into the hands of those who execute[d] her” and “they then waited [sic] her down and put her in the bottom of Lake Hemet.”

Via text message, Harper claimed a Riverside Sheriff dive team recently attempted to locate Abrams’ remains in Lake Hemet but failed.

My gut feeling today say it was a hit orchestrated by several perpetrators. I would really like to visit with Isidro and share a few things and get his opinion. He knew the family situation on an every day basis. I am sure he has more insight that can be shared. Isidro also knows all the trails off the Bonita Vista. He knew when Dia was in distress. She was afraid that he may quit and find a less stressful job.

I'm just going to nose right into your business here Sun Spot and I hope you'll forgive me for it, but I would caution you to think carefully of your own safety here, above all else. People are disappearing and dying around and on that ranch, and there are other issues in addition to those, like illegal pot farms and rattlesnakes and lawyers and stuff. Why not call a reporter, say, or a detective, somebody who will step in between you and this dangerous idea, and let them find Isidro. Then maybe you can both talk to him, together. Discreetly. Elsewhere. Safely. Please.
Love, coastal

FYI, Lake Hemet is a lake, but it is also: an RV park, a campground, a marina, a fishing area, and more, with lakeview cabins for rent and paddle-boats and beaches for swimming:

RV Park — Lake Hemet

Marina Rentals — Lake Hemet

"The guest home has a great kitchen and living room area with a wonderful fireplace and 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms upstairs."
Oh! Thank You. I'm not as savvy when it comes to keeping track of all the properties and locations. It still sounds a bit lavish on Jodi's budget, from the way her sister talked, but maybe she was getting some kind of deal from her boss KH.

That house is still part of Dia's estate? Was that because the sale fell through? Sorry, I know it was for sale before and now am confused. Who lives in the bigger house now then?

Re: the Tool Box Spring Rd property, those photos above are from an old listing. Maybe before Dia disappeared? Though, I recall a for sale sign posted at the property after she went missing. That sale did not go through. Last year Dia's kids filed "lis pendens" against all three properties so they could not be sold pending the probate court action.

I think if we did some sleuthing, we might find online rental advertisements offering either the three bedroom main house, or the two bedroom side rental.

What is a Lis Pendens in California Real Estate Law? - Talkov Law
Formerly known as a “lis pendens,” a notice of pendency of action is a written document, recorded with the county recorder, that provides constructive notice of a pending court action (i.e. a lawsuit) that affects title to, or possession of, real property. In other words, a lis pendens means that there is a pending lawsuit related to a property.

Unexpected arrival at memorial service for Jodi Newkirk near Idyllwild | cbs8.com
Author: David Gotfredson (Investigative Producer)

Harper’s arrival at Newkirk’s memorial service – at Living Free Animal Sanctuary in Mountain Center – was surprising, awkward, and upsetting to some in attendance.

Harper strolled into the outdoor venue, coming face to face with friends and family of the deceased.

CBS 8 was in attendance at the invitation of Newkirk’s sister, Kelly Berkowitz, who drove up in a car just after Harper arrived. She was visibly shaken when she noticed Harper was nearby.

“My reaction to seeing Keith Harper was a panic attack. I kind of lost my mind there for a minute. I just couldn't believe it. I was stunned,” Berkowitz told CBS 8.

Harper already had been warned not to show up at the service, according to a family member who said they told him about a week earlier that he was not welcome.
