If this John Doe was estimated between 14-25 (Namus. although they state he was an adult). That means if he died in 1995-1996 he is born aproxx. between 1970 - 1982.

Yeah i definitely understand, but I have always wondered about this for numerous cases. Especially since so many kids seem to just not be recognizable or just not have someone really looking for them. I agree with the Hispanic traits though, i found it hard in the newest recon to try and picture the Hispanic traits. Could they maybe mean Spaniard traits? My family is from Spain, we have more Spaniard traits but not Hispanic but could possibly be confused as that with some of my relatives.

Spaniard traits and Hispanic (meaning coming from south America, Mexico IMO) are different for me. I have Spanish ancestry blood, but by no means I'm Hispanic.

James Monti from Oregon is believed to have left home voluntarily in March 1995. His description matches that of this UID. Also, he does not have dentals available but does have DNA. There aren't any details surrounding his disappearance in any of the circumstances on profiles. There are a couple of posts on his WS thread but nothing that leads to him being 12 hours away in California. His pic and the composite (not so much the sketch, though) have similar features, especially the ears. Moo

The jaw and nose look pretty similar! I also see a resemblance in the brow area, not sure how reliable that is since the remains were skeletal. Definitely contact LE about this potential match! In my experience the OC gov is responsive and has the resources to do testing!

Ty for your input. I submitted James Monti's case to the OCSD Coroner through email. I will update if/when I hear back. Given that they recently appealed for help/tips from the public, I'm hopeful they'll welcome the suggestion and quickly do a comparison. Thanks again.

I came across Bryan Fleeman while looking for something else. There’s not much info available for him but he fits the description. Also, no photo on his NamUs profile. Missing from Ferndale, Michigan.

Anyone else find a resemblance between this doe and Anthony Horner? Dates are a bit off bc Horner went missing in 89, but who knows. Very interesting that they were near the same height, and both reportedly had some dental damage.

He was born September 28th, 1971 and was 24 when he went missing (a little older than this unknown person, but ages aren’t always correct with unknown corpses). He went missing from San Dimas which is like an hour or so from OC. Steven was a tall 6’1 and 175 lbs so he was taller and heavier than this corpse, but again, don’t rule him out based on height and weight alone. Steven had red hair like they said this corpse did (in the pic of Steven it looks like his hair is brunette, so I’m guessing reddish brown was his natural hair color). His race is listed as Hispanic, but if you look at him he looks White. He’s probably half Hispanic and half White. I’d check this guy out just to see. Dental records are available too.

Half Hispanic (Dad - thus the surname) and half Caucasian via his mother and thus the non-Hispanic given name Steven?

Or just a long shot, if he was adopted would they amend the birth index to add the new parent in those cases? I'm guessing if they did then the parents would have added their surname e.g. he's Caucasian by birth but adopted by a Hispanic/Caucasian couple.

@CaliforniaSleuther Going over the rule-outs again I noticed that a Steven Gonzales is on the rule out list. I think this is Steven Michael Gonzales. Does somebody know? I looked over it, because they didn't used his full name.

I hope DNA project/LE can soon announce another successful identification. That would be great!
