I agree! There were many odd things in the initial reports that grabbed my attention. (No names, no photos, then only one child’s photo for a day or so, then this old blurry pic?). Young kids are so cute and fun I have so many pics! In addition to your point of the same sizes listed, I also personally was very struck that both were said to be wearing gray sweat pants and black sweatshirts. The same generic outfit just sounded unlikely to me. JMO.

lots of people dress their kids alike. And lots of little brothers want to dress like their big brother. That doesn’t strike me as odd. I’m curious how far apart they are in age. Is it closer to 12 months or 24 months. They could be pretty close in size and it mean nothing.

Other than that, I don’t have strong feeling either way. Just want the boys to be safe.

It’s so hard for me to believe the parents would disappear both baby boys. I wish more msm was covering this case.

I think the no pictures at first and then the baby’s photo so blurry and sideways is off. I have kids similar ages. They love playing outside together. I was hopeful they had just wandered off. Hoping to see an update soon.

On an active crime scene this morning in #CaliforniaCity. Police are searching for 3 y/o Orson West & 4 y/o Orrin West. Last seen in their backyard Monday. Parents believe foul play was involved.

Agree. All the media were there yesterday. Why aren’t they doing on scene reports today? Granted I am east coast and have been up for many hours. But it just feels like we are overdue for an update.

Might not be on scene yet. It's a bit of a drive for the LA and Bakersfield stations to get there

Reporters are likely calling LE to see if there are any updates, JMO. If they are told there is nothing new, why drive to Cal City to sit and wait? Coverage is going to be tough due to the holiday

IMO LE will give a release when the body’s are found and an arrest, or two, are made.

I doubt they will find anything significant in the backyard. That feels too obvious... But of course they must look everywhere.

Since some were on the topic of photos, I am curious if their adoptive parents have nice photos of all the kids displayed in the house.

Also curious the ages of the other children; why weren't any of them outside with Orrin and Orson? Are Orrin and Orson left by themselves outside regularly?

Yeah no point in making the drive until something significant happens. With Christmas being tomorrow, unless something major occurs we probably won't hear anything

There is literally limitless places to bury two small bodies out there. I hope LE is asking neighbors if they have security cam so they can see which way their movements were.

From what I could gather, the boys were on the back patio together, using sidewalk chalk - likely drawing all over the patio, like kids do. Dad was right there too, in and out with the wood he was gathering up for a fire. So, from dad's story, they weren't really outside alone.

The police cordoned off the whole block last night since they had been getting so much traffic in there and didn’t want media to get an eyeful since they were digging.

Due to clues in the AV News videos (was up til 5am) I believe they were digging in the corner of the yard, close to the house and fence on the side next to the vacant lot (the most SE part of the fenced in area) Moo

-not to get too excited when a huge FBI dig begins
-if the FBI is involved we will get little to no update, they likely won't verbally insinuate what they believe to have happened until there is an official press release or conference once a case for homicide is undeniable

That's a good point about the FBI. They definitely keep everything under wrap
