The clothing doesn't match the description of what Pamela may have been wearing, but she easily could have changed clothes before her murder (or the clothing estimates may have just been wrong).

I'm sure a reconstruction for this Jane Doe would help. I wonder why they never attempted it.

She's pretty but sadly very little on her

While checking for missing persons I found out that few went missing prior to 1973 but by 1973 there's an explosion.

To me, there is a striking resemblance.

To me too, but the distance is bothering me. If you do a lay over in excell...yes, all is fitting...
The distance issue needs to be recognized, I agree; but an abductor could have brought her from Santa Monica to the Santa Rosa area.
I would love to see that particular Jane Doe identified. Perhaps her identification would lead to solving the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders.
I guess we don't know if Pamela wore glasses or contact lenses? Maybe the candy tin with the lens belonged to the perp (s) ?
Pamela probably believed she was safe hitchhiking with her dog.

I think this one looks good especially since mentions hard contacts lenses which in the 1970s was not as common for people to have contact lenses as it is now.
Also the distance really does not bother me. She was hitchhiking she could of gotten in a car or truck and the guy could of taken advantage of her early on then dumped her dog along the way and dumped her as far as possible.
I wonder if the dog was found but because there was no internet it was harder to find out whose dog it was. Who knows if it had tags.
Someone should def submit this one!
