Okay so probably nothing because it could have just been a popular style-- BUT The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) had blue tennis shoes with white stripes at her time of death.I agree, in Europe the Adidas shoe of 5.5. would be 36 1/3 quite small indeed.

California had a habit of cremating unidentified people after a certain length of time, so I think one can safely assume that's what happened here, unfortunately.Since there is no DNA noted in this case, I reckon we could assume that her remains were likely cremated? There is no note concerning how her remains were deposed of.
I have confidence that this woman may be the match for the Placer County Doe.
