Judging by his other page I believe so, however, it’s possible he was hacked and someone mimicked his last post he had made right before. The one with the cross was posted on his actual page Sunday at 10am.
Thanks Roadette. I missed that!

I’ve done a bit more poking around and interestingly, I can’t find the photo with his daughter which is the profile pic on the second account. So maybe it was a real account after all.

Edited to add: Do we know his times at the casino? The profile pic on that second page was changed Sunday night at 10pm - so roughly 4 hours before he went missing.

The time on that profile picture change shows 3pm for me. I’m in US Pacific Time so I think it shows the viewer’s local time. Jmo

I’m also in PT but used Chrome (not my normal browser) for the reverse image search capability. Just plugged the profile into Safari and you’re right. It must be something with my browser time for Chrome.

Thanks for that. I got spooked for a minute.

Hey guys, new to site thought I'd post to clarify some things regarding bank accounts being "drained". I work closely with fraud investigators and can say unequivocally that no traditional checking/savings account can be emptied via atm unless there is very low funds to begin with. Many algorithms are in place to prevent a series of large transactions on consecutive days outside of normal account activity. Some of you have probably experienced this (security hold) while on road trips, vacation etc. Furthermore removing said hold always requires additional information only an account holder would be privy to.

Yes I am confused by that! Bank accounts would mean plural accounts all the money was removed. Wouldn't you have had to gone to the bank to do that?

I'm not in law enforcement but I have never seen a single case where someone has been forced to close an account (in branch) under duress, for all practical purposes that does not happen. And if it was multiple accounts that's completely unheard of.

I was thinking the same thing. and say he had been forced to pull money, a simple alert to the teller would happen

Sorry I meant to reply and made another post, only in cases of elderly abuse have I seen people (in branch) forced to close an account(s) and that's usually either a joint account holder or themselves with a manipulative relative/caregiver.

I hope for the best possible outcome for Mr. Tyrrell and his family. That being said in cases where a joint account holder emptied multiple accounts and absconded with a large sum of money, there's generally a lover, a drug problem, or some form of psychological break involved. You would be amazed to know how many well respected business/family men just snap only to be found weeks later in bars, resorts, brothels, etc.

how much money did he win at the casino? when ppl cash out, is there an option to deposit winnings in bank acc'ts rather than take it as cash? (I've never been to a casino)
does he wear expensive jewellry/watch/designer clothing etc that would make him a target by people thinking he must have lots of money in acc'ts?

The credit line allows a certain amount to be withdrawn as an electronic check which takes 1-2 days to post. He may have withdrawn money before hitting a big jackpot. Then had a large amount of cash on him, when the credit line checks went through it overdrew his account. Just a thought. I hope he is found safe.

No credit line was taken. He won a fair amount of money but not enough that you have to fill in tax paperwork. Hope that helps. His atm card had a high daily limit, and there was enough money to pay bills etc, not much more.

Not expensive jewelry. He dressed nice but regular, not flashy. But he talks to EVERYONE. Rich has never met a stranger in his life. I'm concerned that the men heard rich talking to Marcy saying he won x amount. Pure speculation.

That would be a little bit of a relief, I would think - him to be voluntarily missing and having a great time somewhere - but from what @John Galt says the detectives are saying (hopefully his verification process will be complete soon), it doesn't sound like that's the case.
They also said they believe he is in LA County somewhere. That sounds like they know he is still alive. How do they know that? I hope and pray Rich is ok. I went to high school with him.
