I disagree as the Tracy 60 has come up during this case...or rather...before this case even started.. perhaps we should call it the Tracy 59 now
While it has come up...there is no known direct connection to Sandra or this particular case...is there? I must have missed it if LE has found one.

"On Friday evening, a witness saw a man who looked like the person who was taken in for questioning returning to the park. He walked out of a car and went up to unit No. 43. Someone at the door gave him a hug and he walked inside."

KTVU also learned that FBI and Tracy police entered the mobile home park Tuesday afternoon to search unit 88 again. The home was one of the first locations police searched soon after the second grader went missing.

???????

Did they get the number wrong in the report?

I wonder if there are any Plummers at the address of Sinclair's relative in Oakdale? They searched that house and confiscated vehicles. (And even dug in the yard.)

her age is listed as 64..... speculation only and just a thought but maybe she is the she of the suitcase??? LE said they did hear speculation about the case being from the trailer park

Detectives trying to unravel a murder mystery that left a little girl dead in a suitcase at the bottom of a pond said they haven't yet found the weapon used to kill the 8-year-old and can't say for sure where the luggage came from.

Tracy Police Sgt. Tony Sheneman told reporters Wednesday that investigators haven't recovered the instrument used to murder Sandra Cantu, but said her death is being classified as a homicide.

Snipped:

The man who was questioned Friday came voluntarily to the police station, Watney said. He was driven to the station because he did not have transportation.

He was not detained.

I Noticed an SUV being towed on the news with out of state license plates....
Maybe Wyoming?
Anyone else notice this?

It is frustrating, but I really appreciate these pressers. We did learn something this morning - THERE WAS NO REPORT OF STOLEN LUGGAGE. I think that is huge, given that the media is quoting someone saying the luggage was stolen when it was on its way to be donated for a rummage at the church.

Also - the Pub. Info Officer is very good at dispelling rumors, which we are getting more and more of and helping to quiet the natives. From that church website, it appeared that some community members were ready to start a lynch mob. We have to try to remember that these pressers are more for the local community members then they are for us. That community needs all the reassurance it can get from its Police at this point. They have a killer running around loose. VERY SCARY!

His message to Tracy parents regarding the personal/professional response of the local LE and keeping in touch with their children was priceless in my opinion. Without causing a big to-do, he let parents know that they NEED TO BE CAREFUL. This is a message that can not be repeated too often at this particular point in time, especially in Tracy.

Just my thoughts,

Salem

FTR, I happen to LIVE in Tracy. I know what the people here want to know. They want to know that they HAVE a suspect. They want to hear that there IS evidence that links to a specific person or persons. I do appreciate that they are keeping her name in the news, I really do (though around here, there's NOBODY who isn't on top of this story!) Just as there was "no evidence of an abduction" and "no evidence of a body in the container"...I don't believe that there's nothing to the stolen luggage story. (Whether it was fabricated after the fact, whatever...I'm sure *someone* said it and it's being looked into.)

Please, forgive me if I'm coming off sounding rude or witchy...that isn't my intention. I just think that at some point, they need to just give some written statement of "nothing new yet to report" and have pressers maybe once a day or every 2 days. JMO, of course...

Yay. They've arrested one of the 60. Go get 'em Tracy cops.

TRACY, CA - The Tracy Police Department arrested a softball coach on charges of possessing child *advertiser censored*.

James Spencer Hagelston, 41, was arrested at his Tom Fowler Court home Tuesday. Sergeant Tony Sheneman said detectives confiscated a computer from the home that contained pornographic movies that featured girls under the age of ten engaged in sex acts with adult men.

Sheneman said the arrest is due in large part to sophisticated technology that allows police to flag and track *advertiser censored*.

"There is a group of dedicated investigators that have put together something called a tool kit that tracks specific images and videos on the internet," said Sgt. Sheneman. "We can run a check on those images and if they're being downloaded onto an IP address in Tracy we can find out where they're being downloaded."

Sheneman said investigators are concerned that children in the community may have been inappropriately approached by Hagelston.

"Mr. Hagelston's wife has a daycare that is operated out of her home," said Sgt. Sheneman. "He was also last year the coach of a 10 and under girls' softball team and is also a consultant with a company that does work with the school districts."

Theresa James lives next door to Hagelston. "I'm in shock," she said of his arrest. "It makes me so sad for his wife. She was a day care lady and we wanted our kids in the daycare."

James said the Hagelston's have three children of their own and seemed like a "normal family."

Detectives are still investigating the case. Anyone with any information is asked to call Detective Nate Cogburn with the Tracy Police Department at (209) 831-6617.

Softball coach and in-home daycare! Of course. Can you imagine how the parents of the softball players and daycare kids feel? I'm getting so suspicious of any male who wants to work with kids and that's a shame. I hope the wife of this piece of human refuse never left the kids alone with him. Ugh.

tracy 60 came up during Sandra's case.... you have to go back and read the article on the tracy press about it. It talked about how LE was having to investigate not only the rsos in the area but also these sixty people that they know about... I bet the softball coach is not in prison right now. Who knows.

Well that solve the plummers mystery. They do not live in the MHP

I think that is a typo. 812 W CKIVER RD if you google that address it asks you did you mean : 812 W CLOVER RD.

The K and the I are the typo'ed letters.

Interesting also that two of the mobile homes in that park are listed for rent, when you google the Ckiver rd and get clover road.

So that leads me to believe that it was a typo of the street name. I'm open to corrections though :)

is there one way in and out of the mhp? If so, seems the camera could catch any vehicles coming/going.

I wonder if there are any Plummers at the address of Sinclair's relative in Oakdale? They searched that house and confiscated vehicles. (And even dug in the yard.)

I did a property name search for all lots on SCHOOL AVE in Oakdale - there are no Plummers listed as property owners - that doesn't mean it couldn't be a renter though.

Also, Plummer may be renting out the mobile home in the park?
