Just a note that this may have been a period of tremendous stress in SP's life - two very young children to care for, along with getting older and realizing your "dream life" may not come to fruition. I get a sense from the photographs that this couple fancies themselves to be worldly, glamorous, cosmopolitan (I can relate), and yet find themselves rather isolated in a rural location, far away from big city lights.

Upon reading this, not a word in this statement expressing anger at the perpetrators and the need for justice. The phrase "sub human" is applied to those spreading rumors, however.

I don't understand only having anger towards the internet, and not to the actual people who took his wife. I'm sure it's been an emotional rollercoaster, but I just get the feeling they know who and why. Not that it makes them victims any less.

I understand what you're saying. But it's also possible that they were happy with their lives. They had two children, a home, and lived in a quiet and (what they thought was a) safe environment to raise their children. It might be just what they wanted in life. Seems like they also had caring and supportive families. Obviously, we can't tell from the outside. But they certainly could've been happy.

I'm also interested to know if she was delivered in the same clothes she was abducted in? I'm assuming (maybe erroneously) her "chains" and clothing and whatever else was on her person when she was found would be tested for other DNA? What part of her body was she branded on? Did she normally text her husband while he was working? He said she texted him on his personal phone which he doesn't usually bring in with him to his job. Wouldn't she know that? Why wouldn't she contact him on his work phone? Does he come home for lunch often? (I'm sure all of these questions have been asked of course, this thread moves very fast). And of course the biggest question of all is what went on for the 3 weeks while she was being held?
This case just doesn't sit right with me at all. I'm not saying she wasn't abducted at all, I think she was but there seems to be no real motive all the way around. I don't see any motive for abducting her, holding her, letting her go. The sex trafficking doesn't seem to fit IMO. And then I don't see a motive for faking an abduction either. It's one big head-scratcher.

I don't know the answer to your question. But wasn't Sherri beaten and starved before this happened? We're talking about a body that wasn't in tip-top condition when she began screaming. Or no?

Much as I believe she was abducted, I have to admit I always wondered why the family put out pics of her happy beautiful smiling face! If someone were to see her she wouldn't be looking like that! And the other thing is...why is her husband doing all these interviews? Who is with her while he's doing these? I'm not picking on anyone, but it just strikes me in a certain way. There might be perfectly logical answers!
