At risk of being accused of being a different person and saying things that I didn't say, I live off of Santa Teresa. The area that surrounds the presser is a combination of open flat land, miles and miles of nothing, brush and trees and bodies of water. She could easily be close by but be well hidden. Very close to major freeway-101, Monterey highway and other main roads. The area is also very close to the foothills.
Darn good question to ask and I would have never thought of it until I watched a Law and Order SUV last week that said the victim was terrified - there was urine all over his clothes. In all my years of crime watching I've never thought of this.
Why would she pack clothes at all if she were just going to be headed to school for the day. The only time my kid takes clothes to school is if she has to change into sports things or there is a school activity going on. I think it odd to carry a change of clothes. JMO
Everyone in the family has been cooperative. Sierra was very close to her mom, her boyfriend, her father, her sister. No reason to think she would run away. No probs at home.
